Clean rooms with adequate facilities, good breakfast, hospitality of morning staff excellent staff. Very good value for money. Parking facility very useful.
Check in staff in a hurry to close and leave although arrived within opening times. Shower in bathroom lacks power.

It was clean, comfortable and of a good standard
Our rooms were on the ground floor and we were somewhat disturbed by a noisy group above us who partied until the early hours. Not your fault, just a fact of life.

Comfortable bed with a duvet and not blankets - excellent. Bathroom very clean and lovely quality fresh towels. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
It was further away from the Ricoh Stadium than we had hoped.

the bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and spacious.
there was only one plug socket in the room which was a bit of an inconvienence but not a big problem.

When I telephoned to confirm I was told that it was not free but would only cost £5.00 for 24hours connection, when I actually arrived it cost me £10.00 for 24hr access. Accurate information before I booked would have been appreciated. With many hotels now offering free internet access this can be a deciding factor on hotel choice." (97049659)
The staff were pleasant and helpful and the evening bar meal was to an acceptable standard.
Although clean the room decor was tired and could do with updating. The bathroom was particularliy in need of some work.

Campanile Hotel Coventry North, Coventry - Reviews & Ratings"The Campanile Hotel is in a quiet part of Coventry on the edge of the city but has an ASDA, McDonalds and a lovely pub called The Mountpleasant Inn over the road which serves great food. It was very close to where we were attending a seminar so was very central for our purposes. I would recommend this hotel for quick stays but not really for family holidays or a romantic break. It is functional and comfortable but lacks a real ambience and it is on the outskirts of the city. Having said that, the hotel was very clean and the staff very welcoming and helpful which is very important. I will be staying there again on my next business trip to Coventry." (97332558)
The staff at the Campanile was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean, tidy and comfortable which made for a relaxing stay.
There was only one plug in the room and that was for the television so you had to unplug the tv to use a phone charger etc.

Comfortable,quiet
Door into ensuite scrapes floor producing loud noise. Toilet top cover broken and left at side of toilet. Both these could be easily fixed. Anti slip bath mat had to be obtained from reception.

The overall package was good.
The fact that we had to stay in another hotel and pay more while work was carried out to fix the heating system, and having arrived at 2:00am was not the ideal.

Campanile Hotel Coventry North, Coventry - Reviews & Ratings"Well situated for access to M6. Good bus access to Coventry. Buses regular, although city centre is some distasnce away. On arrival at hotel guests should be made aware, if they are using buses, that they need to have correct money before boarding. I had to miss bus, go and obtain change, and wait for the next one. This could have been a real problem had I been heading for an appointment. A map of Coventry City Centre would have been handy to have had in the bedroom." (97251223)
Accomodation very clean,helpful and polite staff (the room cleaners worked very hard). Quiet despite being situated near a busy rounabout with lots of retail properties close by (eg MacDonalds, Asda, Petrol station.
Would have liked more tea, milk, sugar etc. I felt only being supplied one tea bag per person per 24 hours was a little stingy. Also shower was very poor, hardly any force to water supply. Bath was fine though.

we liked that it was clean and comfortable
the staff didnt explain that the breakfast price included the cooked breakfast as well the continental and they didnt clearly explain the times breakfast started and ended which where different to those printed on our key card. We were also very disappointed in the size off our dinner portions when we ordered our evening meal they were very small and quite expensive for what we got! Also when we booked the room online we didnt relize that the reception closed at 11.30pm and had to make arrangements with staff in order to get our key as we were arriving later than that and I could hear the manager shouting at the receptionist when we called to arrange this!! I was horrified and and embarassed!!

Everything. The staff were very helpful when we were asking about booking in early to change as we had travelled a long way to attend my Niece's wedding. No complaints at all, it was exactly what we needed for the occasion.

As I was due to be at a training course the next day I wanted to arrive refreshed after a long journey this did not happen instead I arrived cold and tired this is my first and last experience of this hotel." There was a large gap on the front door which allowed cold air through making the room very cold also television had a mind of its own and would switch off when viewing very busy McDonalds takeaway across from accomodation with cars turning up at all hours using horns and reving engines.
