Very friendly and helpful staff clean rooms in the middle of Paris who could ask for more at theese prices?

"We did enjoy our stay (at the garden Saint Martin - name recently changed). All one asks from a tourist hotel in Paris is somewhere to sleep for a few hours. Front rooms can be noisy." (97494352)

Centrally located in Republique area, easy access to Metro. Excellent receptionist who gave good advice and excellent recommendation for restaurent with authentic French atmosphere and cuisine.

Very small room, even compared to other rooms in hotel - awkward to move round room and sit at table comfortably (only one chair). Shower difficult to access. But, hey, its a typical Parisian hotel!
