Campanile Hotel Doncaster, Doncaster - Reviews & Ratings"Very good, would recommend" (107142469)
Excellent value Staff efficient and courtious, Rooms roomy, comfortable & clean
No BAD points, certain areas could do with a coat of paint. The hotel without a lift would be little use to the elderly and infirm if ground floor accom. unavailable

Campanile Hotel Doncaster, Doncaster - Reviews & Ratings"i was under charged for my stay on departing the hotel, then they took it upon themselves to take more money from my account without my permission resulting in me being charged even more money from my bank." (108022878)
i liked the fact it was like a holiday camp instead of a hotel
room smelt heavily of smoke. The drinks were massivly overpriced which led to us drinking elsewhere.

Very helpful staff. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed.
Non-slip bath mat should be standard. Big Brother shouldn't be allowed on the TV in the bar, where it was impossible to avoid if a drink was required!

Campanile Hotel Doncaster, Doncaster - Reviews & Ratings"Very good facilities, pleasant comfortable rooms, good value for money." (108061630)
The rooms were clean, neat and easily accessible, beds were comfortable, made for a good night's sleep, and the area was nice and quiet.
No mention was made when booking of a security fee being added to the pre-authorisation process. this did leave myself short of cash for the weekend as the bank ear-marked the funds.

Campanile Hotel Doncaster, Doncaster - Reviews & Ratings"dAs the purpose of my visit was to attend a funeral I appreciated that I was not disturbed by noisy and drunken guests. have stayed in many Campaniles in France, this is the first one in the uk but would not hesitate to do so again. For the money I would say it was good value and the food was also first class." (97512487)
Iliked the fact that it was not overlooking a busy road, the restaurant was quiet and we did not feel rushed in any way.

Decent bistro/bar and close enough to Keepmoat Stadium.
Post code confused my Sat Nav and directed me to the middle of the carriageway on the M18. The hotel informed me others have had similar problems.

Campanile Hotel Doncaster, Doncaster - Reviews & Ratings"This was the second time we stayed here and we like it because it is dog friendly and the hotel backs onto fields, allowing us to give the dogs a run. I have eaten in the bistro both times and both times the meal was faultless. The staff were lovely - really friendly and chatty." (97455774)
Great to park the car right outside the room ,so easy for packing and unpacking.

Campanile Hotel Doncaster, Doncaster - Reviews & Ratings"I would stay at this hotel again, but would ask for a quieter room at the end of the block. I would take my own towels as the ones I had were awful. However it was good value for money and I would definitely eat in the restaurant again." (97344257)
Spacious room, very friendly and obliging staff, easy to park by room, nice fields at back of hotel to walk our dogs. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant.
Towels were a bit poor and tired and corners in bathroom were dirty. Only managed one hour of sleep on first night due to rowdy guests.

Campanile Hotel Doncaster, Doncaster - Reviews & Ratings"I thought the hotel was decent value for money however it is 10 mins taxi ride from city too far to walk. The problem we had with the hotel is that the reception, bar and restaurant are all located in the same area and is far too small for the number of rooms, bit annoyed the bar and reception close about 11.00pm but meals were ok and staff good." (97252704)
Bed was very comfortable
all ok bit basic but not expensive
