Great surroundings and great just being left to our own devices.
Unable to lock room door as keys no longer provided to guests.Not happy with leaving belongings in unlocked room. Would at least suggest room safe as minimum option. Also - no wardrobe to hang clothes in. TV in room didnt work.

Accomodation was very good. This beautiful Grade I listed building and it's surroundings lived up to our expectations. It is a peacful place to stay and unwind. A good location for seeing Suffolk
Hospitality of staff could have been better. Better quality produce could have been used for breakfast, eg Imported streaky bacon was not satisfactory. Could make more use of local produce, ie the supermarket honey was from New zealand, whats wrong with Suffolk honey?
