"For an inexpensive stay on a budget, this is okay but very basic. I was working at Kew so it was convenient for me. This place is not convenient for the tourist places in the city centre. " (107694032)

The breakfast was surprisingly generous considering it was not a "full" breakfast, with cereal, toast, cold meat, cheese, fruit, juice, and often rolls and tomatoes. I stayed six nights and often took fruit and a roll for my lunch. Coffee and tea were available at all times in the kitchen. The t.v. in the living room was available to all guests. I stayed in and watched a tennis match one rainy day. The woman looking after the guests was very nice and kept the place clean.

When I first arrived, no one was there and a cell phone number was posted. I do not have a cell phone and had to walk back to the Underground station with my luggage to call. This was aggravating and exhausting. My room was a single and very basic. Do not expect anything beyond a bed and small table. The shared bath was functional but the shower had low water pressure and the stall was tiny. The place is on a busy and noisy road.

"Lousy - thankfully I spent just one night there. I stay in hotels etc for 40 weeks a year - this place is not the worst but close to it and the only one with no tv facility." (107374876)

    Comfortable bed

Breakfast start time too late (0800). No tv in room. no kettle etc in room. No cutlery or crockery in kitchen - located in kitchen of adjoining house. No light in bathroom. Inadequate parking ...... Garden overgrown (not as described).

Having a bed next to the boiler results in a lack of sleep.

No visible sign for Hazelwood from the road. Location map totally inadequate, not enough surrounding area shown.

    "Grim." (107206495)

    Cheap. Er- that's it.

No bedside lights. Had to ask for more than one pillow. Breakfast not laid out till 07.30 - useless if one is leaving at 06.30. Bathroom grim, (Bath filthy- carpet stained) Girl in charge was very nice- but never there so only had contact by mobile. She did her best though.
