Grand Hotel Reykjavik, Reykjavik - Reviews & Ratings"We enjoyed visiting your beautiful city. The location of the hotel was great and we were able to get in and out of your hotel easily. I'm sure we would stay there again if and when we get back to Iceland. Being that we are from the states, we found that English was spoken by everyone as needed. This made our trip very easy whether it was in restaurants, hotel, stores, etc. It was great. Thanks so much." (97092850)
Our room was clean, and very quiet, which we liked.
We would have like to have a king size bed but I don't think they were available. We were disappointed in the lack of satellite television stations that we were able to get.

Not much.
The location of the hotel was further from the center than it looked when we booked the hotel.

Grand Hotel Reykjavik, Reykjavik - Reviews & Ratings"I would like to have had more information about getting to the hotel from the airport. I got a taxi, and it cost more than the hotel! I returned on the bus, which was very good and reasonably priced." (2039548)

Grand Hotel Reykjavik, Reykjavik - Reviews & Ratings"The hotel was lovely - gorgeous reception and very nice restaurant. You could not fault the staff, esp. on reception and in brasserie - it was them that made the break so perfect, they were extremely helpful, polite and kind - they seemed really genuine and keen to advise on the best ways to see Iceland." The staff were phenomenally helpful and kind, the hotel itself was plush
The room cleaners could have been better - could have provided fresh glasses etc daily
