Really friendly and helpful staff. Food great value and well presented. Rooms individual and very clean.
Don't go if you really do not like dogs as the resident dog is very much part of this hotel, we loved him!

Very comfortable and made to feel relaxed and welcome. Food extremely good and everything such good value. Have no hesitation in recommending it. Would definately visit again and would like a list of similar hotels.
There is never a box in the form on line to say bringing a dog although they were allowed - I felt I had to ring first to check it was still okay. This appears to be a fault with all dog friendly hotels.

Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Very nice breakfasts. Interesting period furniture and lovely old building.
We only ate in the hotel restaurant once because unfortunately the steak was rather tough. Portion size was over generous too which is not a bad point just a bit wasteful.

The family running this hotel couldn't have done any more to make us feel welcome during our stay. It was like home from home but without our children running around. The whole atmosphere and friendliness made the stay.
There were no bad points other than the bed was a little firm.

THe TV didnt work in the bed room but it didnt ruin anything

Helpful staff. Good breakfast.Good atmosphere.
The internet said there were 3 rooms available so I booked one. I drove all the way from Epsom and there was no room available. Luckily the staff managed to make a room available. This was at 11pm so was not really acceptable.

Friendly staff, nice breakfast. Good sized family room. Clean.
Room looked over a flat roof that provided staff access to other parts of hotel. The view was a bit grim and when curtains were open there was no privacy. Could be resolved with a blind or nets.
