Lovely clean room with very comfortable bed. Enjoyed the meal in the restaurant, food was very tasty and value for money. Car parking facilities.
Slight step into bathroom quite dangerous, friend and I both tripped over it. Couldn't get radio to work in room.

Very noisey at night could not get to sleep. Not enough tables for breakfast and had to wait in a long line, then had to have breakfast in the bar area.

Conveniently located, friendly and helpful staff with clean, stylish rooms make this a good choice for a stay in Cardiff.
Improve Internet service. It is not expensive to have WiFi access installed throughout the hotel. This is fast becoming a complimentary service at hotels. Ten pounds per 24hrs is far too expensive, particularly for a service that is unstable. Include it as part of your nightly fee.

Good location. Impressive foyer. Reception and bar staff very friendly and helpful.
Major building work underway surrounding hotel. Oppressively hot in self-service area of dining room. No air-conditioning in bedroom, just a fan and a restricted window, generally stuffy.

Lovely comfortable room, friendly helpful staff, nice food, convenient location
The price was too expensive - £165 for 1 night!!!?? I understand that the hotels hike their prices when there is an event at the Millenium Stadium but that is a bit over the top!

The young porter who helped me with my luggage was incredibly helpful and friendly
Despite booking many months in advance, we were given a very smoky smoking room which I just hate! There were no other non smoking rooms available so he went and got me some air freshener - you should use febreze or some such rather than stink the room out with cheap perfume......... Also, the sockets on the desk/dresser are so close to the desk that my hairdryer plug could not fit in the socket - bad planning

Excellent hotel in a central location in Cardiff. Were staying on a B & B basis and breakfast was very good.
Only had a meal in the restaurant on one occasion. Our steaks were very tough but, on pointing this out to the waitress, the response was, "Oh!"

Paying £24 for two days parking We had a room with disabled facilites in the bathroom - which was ok - but this wasn't mentioned and we would have preffered a bath and shower combination if that was available

Well priced friendly hotel with an excellent buffet breakfast. Inclusive parking on site was a real bonus for a city centre hotel.
Choice of TV channels very limited without even basic Freeview.

finding location of hotel was awful, shame the decor has been changed to "contempoary" the restaurant was a little like eating at grandmas kitchen with formica table and orange chairs!! it will not age well, as the previous "grand" foyer was much better suited to the hotel

Excellent location One room upgraded as they could not supply 2 rooms on same floor.
People queing for concert at CIA were using toilet facilities, this resulted in mens being put out of order and ladies were constantly busy, wet floors and dirty

staff were very helpful. when i made a complaint about a problem they could not fix they reduced the room rate to reflect.
we opted for the 'executive' room which boasted a king size bed, what we actually got was 2 single beds bolted together, this created a very noticable and uncomfortable ridge in the middle of the bed. effectively they wanted to charge £95 for a twin room with the beds push together!! i could have saved £20 and done that myself luckily they dropped the room rate when i pointed out this fact.
