We only stayed one night. It was close to town and beach, convenient to Phaistos and Gortyn.
The ceiling in our room was a bloody mosquito graveyard that needed to be cleaned. The breakfast was the worst we have experienced in quite some time: undrinkable coffee, a fruit punch claiming to be orange juice, a large basket of stale bread, a plate heaped with melting butter, corn flakes (we think), a table full of jam arranged to camouflage the dearth of other offerings, and the worst ham and cheese the proprietors could find. But the Germans in the room seemed happy.
