Burren Walking Lodge, Ballyvaughan - Reviews & Ratings"fair price for the level of accommodation. Young check in staff need to be a bit more up beat when one goes to them with a problem. However it is a very tourist heavy location, so I guess in mid August staff are getting a touch tired." (107288890)
Very clean new bulid, almost corporate , but excellent location, (that is if you do not want to walk along narrow raods to the main village).
The electricity went down, and as it is a lodge away from the main hotel, there was no one on hand just at the time. No kettle, or fridge in the room, no tv remote.I had an excellent view of landscape.

we loved the quiet but it was also close to many things we wanted to see
you negleted to send us an email to pick up a key at the hotel in town, we were exhausted from our trip in an had to wait an entire day to get into our room it would be nice if breakfast wasnt exactly the same every day

Burren Walking Lodge, Ballyvaughan - Reviews & Ratings"We both really enjoyed relaxing in the lodge especially on the first night of our stay as we had the entire house all to ourselves." (97859565)
Nice large room with great big beds. The lodge is very well kept and nicely decorated. The staff here and at the hotel are all very friendly.
No tea making facilities in the rooms.

"Everything excellent value for money - room most comfortable, continental breakfast very nice overall would go back again" (107106891)
Great location for touring Co Clare, 1 mile outside town - maybe not suitable if you have no car
had to pick key up from hotel in village - bit annoying to arrive after 5 hours driving and then find the place locked with a note on the door redirecting you back to the village!
