Extra touches like the free newspaper, tissues, shower cap and tooth brush cups all add to the feeling that you are special. thank you - Mim
I understand that your executive rooms are all for smokers - what a shame as a non-smoker and a business person I would appreciate a non-smoking executive room, but I personally have a very sensitive nose to smoke and would not be able to stay or sleep in a room which had been occupied by a smoker. I do realise that you have to cater for all clients - so I am just expressing a regret. thanks - Mim

Quick and easy check in and convenient.
Noisy generator or something similar outside the window which made sleeping pretty tricky. Also even though I booked 2 rooms at the same time they were both at the opposite end of the hotel.

Made very welcome by all the staff
When I booked the hotel (Membury) I assumed it would be adjacent to the Welcome Service Station. We were travelling from Cardiff and arrived at Membury at 10.30pm, and could not find the hotel, when we asked a member of staff we were told that it was actually on the Westbound side, so we had to negotiate the dark lanes and eventually found it. I would like to suggest that on the booking form it is made VERY clear that there is only the one hotel at Membury and it is on the Westbound carriageway. If we had realised this before we would have booked elsewhere.

We arrived other side of motorway and had a nightmare journey to cross motorway and find hotel. We endeavoured to follow the instructs on the east side but there was a total lack of signing to the hotel as we travled over.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and check in easy.
Shower did not work adequately and room was very "worn". Bathroom was not as clean as it could have been but the toilet, bath and sink were fine to use. You advertised breakfast for £3.99 but that was not the case when we went over for breakfast.

the bt wifi was not working in my room i paid £10.00 for 24 hour use but had to go to foyer to use it. felt this was a waste of money.

Difficult to gain access from east bound carriage of m4. The road access shows a no entry sign with authorised vehicles only. I had to go back onto the m4 and put over half an hour on to my journey before finding the road. Not very satisfactory.

Delighted that you accepted us & our dogs into your hotel, they were made to feel very welcome
TV reception was very poor - we did report it upon checkout Service area car park is quite a distance; one of our group has difficulty walking so this was a bit of a bind - perhaps you could offer a certain number of disabled parking spaces nearer the entrance? Perhaps another couple of pillows would be nice too.

fairly typical motel accommodation
access was difficult; we came from the west in darkness and left in daylight across the motorway to Lambourn; signage in and around the site was non-existent, which, given the layout of the site, is woeful; having to visit the shop on the west bound side for directions, then driving down roads marked "authorised personnel only" in virtual darkness was unexpected and unsatisfactory; we left by crossing the motorway again and can only repeat that the absence of signs was not helpful
