room and guest facilities were fine.....comfortable room
cant believe no attempt was made by the staff to stop and curtail the excessive loud noise and mayhem that occurred for about 2 hours in the late evening and early morning....at one point i was going to call the police to curtail the yelling, screaming and running around outside our corridor....did not dare go out as they were obviously drunk and possibly violent...shame

The rain didn't get in
The bedroom was poorly constructed - yes I said constructed - poor! Faulty plumbing. Noise Noise Noise - I knew I would be satying in the flight path to Heathrow airport but that was not an issue. Every single night person or persons were throwing heavy objects into a permanent metla container within the grounds of the hotel. the noise meant 4 nights without sleep. It was Hell. the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced. The facilities were dreadfull, and when trying to order food, almoset half of the menu was not available - all week! I found this hotel perfectly acceptable in the past - the new owners have ruined a perfectly good hotel. I won't be staying here again.

Appalling condition of room not as advertised,dinner plates left on the floor from previous guests, tv & shower not working properly staff not very helpfull.

Restaurant attached to hotel and seemingly part of it did not accept the same credit cards as the hotel (AMEX), this was inconvenient

Friendly helpful staff. Main hotel reasonably presentable internally but sections of wall and ceiling of reception unfinished.
Apartment 'rooms' adjacent to main hotel were basically clean but in poor state of repair. Fixtures and fittings were worn out. Poorly fittings doors and windows meant that there was litle insulation to noise and draughts.

Hotel Location. Low rate.
Motel style rooms run down and shabby. Only an indian restaurant in hotel. Rowdy football night in bar. Poor noise proofing of aircraft and traffic noise.

Friendly Staff, Clean Room
The shower curtain was positioned too far over the bath so that it wrapped round you every time you moved having a shower. No other bad points and that wasn't really bad either.

Decor in corridors tatty, slightly noisy in evening due to event with music, looked out on lots of rubbish.Was in process of being updated

Rooms clean and adequate, though still a bit overpriced.
No central heating working on one of coldest days of the year! Staff didnt know about the fault or didnt admit to knowing. Had fan heater on all night, room still bloody cold!

Some feedback has been listened to. i.e. there are now irons in the rooms.
The restraunt door was locked from the inside for both the evening meal and again at breakfast! I realise renovations are going on but better provision need to be made for access. Also the quality of food at breakfast was poor. Not work £10.

Kitchen extractor fan directly outside the bathroom window, this window did not close fully and was the only one not double glazed so room was full of cooking smells. At 10.00 Friday night a disco in the room direcectly below my bedroom started the base was sound high that the secondary glazing in the bedroom rattled this disco went on till01.30 saturday morning. When I paid my bill in full on arrival, I was refused my invoice until the morning of my last day because the software could not print it until then!

Advertised as the 4 pillars group, it wasnt. By the time Id got there 10.20 there were no services ie food or drink available. Felt unsafe walking to my room via outside staircase. Had to pay for everthing upfront and seperatly ie 1 bill for drink, 1 bill for food, 1 bill for room?

It was as described and easy to get to Twickenham which was the purpose of the stay.
As others have found there seems to be constant building works in progress. No bar open after 11.30!!! General motel style layout with very shaby common areas.

Friendly staff, comfortable room.
Very noisy party downstairs until around 2am. When we came back to the room following our evening out, none of the lights worked and we had to go and get a member of staff to fix the problem.

Staff very friendly.
A group of indian lads in the roome next to me despite repeated attempts from me and the duty manager asking them to be quiet kept me awake until 5 am. I complained and got a free breakfast however failed the interview I checked into the hotel to attend and be fresh for. I was so tired I could not answer questions I would normally have sailed through. These guests should have been thrown out. This is a disgrace.

There was a noisy wedding reception in progress when I arrived, but although my room was nearby I could hardly hear it. I had an excellent meal bought to my room at a reasonable cost. staff when very friendly and helpful, free parking in London is a rarity.
The television reception was very poor. I think there was an Ariel problem.

Hotel info said 3.8km from Twickenham - more like 38km!!! Very misleading and we ended up getting taxis and buses to Twickenham when I expected to be able to walk to it!!

very loud thumping music from wedding reception to early hours of morning. electric socket fallen out of wall, 50% of lights not working. Bit missing on toilet seat so wobbley when sitting on.

Staff were very helpful. Sorted out a taxi for us straight away and checked to see if the taxi was still on its way in the morning
Light didn't work in the bathroom of the room we stayed. The tv remote had no batteries. The breakfast was quiet poor for the price paid, the continental didn't have much choice and the english breakfast was made with poor ingredients
