Beach Hotel, Worthing - Reviews & Ratings"Very good - have stayed here twice now" (108332173)
Comfy bed, fresh breakfast with good variety, large car park, great location right on the seafront
Internet access poor is you are not near to the wireless routers (apparently these are at ends of the corridor)

Nice clean hotel, friendly staff,
Food was okay, but not great - They should get rid of the blankets and provide duvets instead

Beach Hotel, Worthing - Reviews & Ratings"Hotel used by mainly elderly people (during my stay), which meant no noisy disco music anywhere, but also made for a quiet atmosphere (almost kind of too quiet !). Lacked a bit of atmosphere, even though the hotel was old and should have had some. Hotel should be internally renovated, moderanised to bring it into the 21st century. Bottom line: You kind of get what you pay for, but think you could have gotten better elsewhere, had anywhere been available. In my case it wasn't." (107530214)
Polite and efficient staff. Good food served very hot. Not excellent food (plain but safe !). Hotel wasn't too full, so service was quick. Free carpark with plenty of space. Hotel easy to find with lots of local amenities (shops, restaurants, seaside walks). Bed didn't look great but was OK, not brilliant, but OK.
No air-conditioning meant our south-west facing rooms were boiling hot in the evening and it was difficult to sleep. Some fixtures in the rooms were tattered and worn (shower hose was frayed and should be replaced, Door locks not high standard and would be easy to rig. No secondary latch / lock on the door from the inside

Beach Hotel, Worthing - Reviews & Ratings"Overall a very pleasant stay. This was a birthday treat for my partner, to get away from stresses and strains of everyday life. We both had a lovely time. Having good weather helped cap the whole experience. The staff were friendly and approachable. " (107302779)
I was dissapointed with my Steak meal as it had quite a bit of unchewable gristle. But the rest of the meal was very good.

Beach Hotel, Worthing - Reviews & Ratings"A very enjoyable experience overall. A very clean, comfortable and quiet room and helpful attentive staff." (107947843)
Exceptionally helpful and friendly team on the Reception desk. I had come to run in a 20 mile road race and the staff were very happy to accommodate my request for a late check out enabling me to have a post race bath. Furthermore they were interested in the event itself and keen to hear how I did.

Beach Hotel, Worthing - Reviews & Ratings"Enjoyed stay at the Beach Hotel. Good quality 3 star hotel in a very good location." (107736193)
Clean, comfortable, very nice location being near the sea front. Bathroom was a good size. Hotel was well presented and the breakfast was very good.
Could have done with a mini bar or mini fridge in room to store drinks and fresh milk, did not like the milk satches provided. If mini bar not possible, would have been nice to have a vending machine around the reception area for soft drinks and mineral water, especailly when the hotel bar is closed.

Beach Hotel, Worthing - Reviews & Ratings"A very pleasant place to stay, felt very welcome, whilst 'left to own devices' to come and go as we pleased." (107469319)
Obviously the view, and parking, though not able to use the car park as it was full. The breakfast was very good.
Shower temperature - went from cold to scalding - an explanation of how to use the bath taps to turn the shower on would have been useful.

Beach Hotel, Worthing - Reviews & Ratings"I regularly stay in hotels in Worthing and would say that this is the best one I've been in to date. There are cheaper options, but my stay represented good value for money - in particular The Beach has a spacious lounge/bar area and the staff are helpful and professional. Breakfast was of a high standard - great to find somewhere these days which does kippers. The hotel is quite traditional, rather than young and funky - not something that bothered me though. It would be fair to say that most guests that I saw during my two night weekend stay were retired (although some like me were late 30s or early 40s), but again I was looking for something relaxing rather than 'happening'. Pubs, and the nightclub on the Pier, are in walking distance anyway. Will definitely return." (107464883)
Excellent value for money, with a relaxing lounge area area at the front of the hotel to have a leisurely cup of tea in. Good quality breakfast.

Locallity of hotel is excellent for a holiday or break, as for myself, on bussiness the hotel was just a short walk from where I needed to be.
None really just that i thought that the bar tariff was a little high.

Beach Hotel, Worthing - Reviews & Ratings"I really enjoyed my visit, and found the overnight charges remarkably reasonable in relation to the excellent facilities provided. I also found the written information for guests to be very clear and helpful [These do need to be updated, to remove reference to Internet Charges, and similarly with the login/password slips obtained from Reception]." (107119622)
The value for the price was amazing. Excellent food. I particularly enjoyed the self=service items at Breakfast, and appreciated having a pot of coffee rather than a cup of coffee.
Booking-in was efficient, but very formal. Would liked to have seen the occasional smile. Had to wait at the bar, as the staff-member appeared to have various duties apart from the bar itself. Very dissappointed with the times that the Internet was down, having specifically brought on-line study material.

Felt at home away from home. Staff very friendly. Nice to have room service. Didn't feel awkward at being a solo traveller. Loved the table that looked out to sea.
corridors were a bit scruffy. Didn't book on the internet but your survey didn't allow for that.

Beach Hotel, Worthing - Reviews & Ratings"Overall the service offered was very good. The majority of staff were very friendly and appeared interested in the well-being of the guests. I would use this hotel again but compared to other business hotels the hotel room was somewhat jaded and in need of refurbishment." (97777976)
The public rooms (Entrance lobby, bar and dining room) were very pleasant and in very good condition.
The hotel room was disappointing compared to other business hotels (i.e. Holiday Inn, Ramada Plaza, etc) that I use regularly.

Beach Hotel, Worthing - Reviews & Ratings"The lounges were spacious and very comfortably furnished. accessibility to and from the car park is quite easy and is from the rear of the hotel. The lifts(2)are excellent and were never out of order. housekeeping staff were very accommodating and rooms were made up quite quickly." (97166711)
as we chose option B&B without upgrade, the breakfast was excellent.
city centre was too far from hotel for mid-eighty year olds to walk to. also remember to upgrade your room.
