Very good value for money thanks to the website. Good location for exploring central London, while still maintaining peace and quiet. Excellent rooftop restaurant.

Conveniently located, friendly staff, good facilities

A minor one. I ordered and received a small brandy at the bar but after I left I noticed that a 45p "Service charge" had been added to the bill. It did'nt seem right.

"Perfect for going to close to Oxford Circus, for Internet users, for preparing/wrap-up of business travel with 1-3 people" (108718258)

price/performance very good, WiFi working well most of the time and in most places & staff reactive when not, central location, easy to reach on public transport, staff very helpful

rooms differ in quality (lights & TV not fully working in one, shower odd in the other, equipment different, cleanliness varies), few (but very speedy) escalators, noisy doors to fire stairs

"I found the staff, I had dealings with, to be helpful and courteous. My main observation is that they all, including the room preparation lady, spoke and understood English.I had booked 2 rooms, myself and my daughter+partner. Both were finished in dark furnishings, but, bright enough with the lights on.The beds were firm but not uncomfortable. The air-con/heating was very efficient. All in all, very good." (97605422)

I found the cost to location ratio very attractive.Theatreland, Covent Garden and major shopping areas all within easy walking distance.

I found nothing to dislike. If I was to be picky, I would say that the flags outside needed washing!

Saint Georges Hotel, London - Reviews & Ratings

"Overall, our stay at the hotel was adequate and convenient as somewhere to stay for the night after seeing a show that went on quite late. But it wasn't value for money compared to the price we paid. This was a last resort accommodation due to us leaving the booking too late, so everwhere else that was cheaper, and included breakfast, was taken. We will not be staying at this hotel when we visit London again in July, as a cheaper stay in London would suit two students better." (99012632)

The TV was a good size and so was the bathroom. All of the features that were described were present in the room and they all worked. The dark colour of the curtains made for a good nights sleep.

It wasn't made clear that breakfast was not included in our price. The fire alarm went off unnecessarily throughout the day and into the early hours of the morning with no explanation or apology.

"Overall, our stay at the hotel was excellent. The room was very nicely decorated throughout (no chincy bedspreads). The hotel was a few minutes walk from Oxford Circus Tube and we had everything we needed. There were only a few down sides. Upon arrival I felt the check-in staff didn't make us feel very welcome. They were a bit dismissive and said very little. Another minor annoyance was that the tv in our room had very poor reception and was not viewable." (99952861)

Excellent location and good standard of room.

Check-in staff were a bit unwelcoming.

"The hotel is good value for money considering its very good location just a few minutes' walk to Oxford Circus station, and being very near to thousands of shops and a variety of cafes and restaurants. The front office staff is small but very efficient and outgoingly helpful." (99161195)

The hotel is very conveniently located and easily accessible by all forms of public transport.

"Good quality hotel, nice lokaction and fair price if you consider pricing levels in london. Main disappointment are your elevators, they look outdated and during our stay only one was available so that makes you wonder if you made the right choice... Staff was nice and friendly, will come check on you guys in the future!" (99482877)

look and feel of the room was good, nice colors, good view.

Moviechannel was same everyday, toilet and airco were out of order.

location is excellent, rooms are spacious, some newly decorated but all clean.

Room was next to lift shaft so we could hear the lifts when moving.

"The restaurant prices appear high, however there was a very reasonable special of the day on offer to tempt us to the 15th floor restaurant, which had a fabulous view. The website advertises a swimming pool, however, and there isn't one! Clean roomy bedroom, pleasant staff and speedy lifts all made it a very pleasant stay." (99651221)

The location is so handy for all of the Regent Street and Oxford Street shopping and restaurants, and the price was really good for such a central position. It was great to have a view over London at night too!

For its central location and standards, this hotel is value for money.

I happened to be placed on the floor immediately below the restaurant and there were occasional bangs on the ceiling. But on the other hand this guaranteed peace and quiet after the restaurant closes at 11 p.m.

Location was fantast, The heights bar was lovely with great views of the London skyline!

Our room was lovely apart from the lift being right next door, which we could hear working all through the night. We couldn't get the heating to function properly, so we were extremely cold all night!?

The panoramic bar on the 15th floor was very light and airy with good views although it was a shame that they didn't have draught beer.

Noisy pipes from about 5.15am onwards. Also, although it waa single room they probably had sufficient floor space to squeeze in a 4 foot bed which would have been more comfortable.
