the food was excellent, could not fault it. Very good fishing on the lakes,and good service in the restaurant.
our room was covered in dust, the bedding did not look as clean as it could have been, and 2 nights running there was no hot water for a bath or shower,had to shower in cold water.

Amazing staff!! Extremely helpful, friendly. Made us feel so welcomed and at home! Will definately stay at this hotel again! Can't rave about it, wonderful experience! The scenery is will take your breath away! The breakfast was as my daughter said "awesome"!

No hot water to begin with I had to ask, bed sheets not very clean, mattress springs poking through. Noisy staff accomodation.

Friendly staff, lovely view from room, quality furniture, nicely set out, easy to find, comfortable bed
TV had no remote,room was rather cold even though there was an electric heater

Hotel is a bit out of the way - buses that pass by finish running around 6pm so you have to get a taxif you don't have your own transport." (3305277425)
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were basic but comfortable. Food was excellent and value for money.

Not a lot. we would not use it again
Very noisy road, decorations in our new room were unfinished, and overall the room was not as clean as it should be (lots of spiders, webs, and general dust

Recent refurbishment needs completing (some lights need wiring up), towels need replacing especially, but clean linen and room

Convenient, clean and quiet
Having earlier breakfast times as standard. Checking that all equipmwent in the room is in working order.

Watersmeet Country Inn, Manchester - Reviews & Ratings"They are aware of the inadequacy of these rooms and told us they are about to be refurbished. The refurbishment of another block of rooms was just being completed - they were due to open the next day but in fact the builders were still there. We were told on the website that the accommodation had already been refurbished but this was not the case. Had I known this I would not have booked." (2312749)
A pleasant setting with a small garden and fishing lake.
They could tether their 2 (pleasant enough) dogs somewhere they can't jump up at visitors on arrival. The room was poor - very dark, lit by one small candle bulb hidden by a dark shade. The light above the washbasin didn't work, the lavatory pan was leaking quite badly & the folding door to the shower room was falling off its hinges. There was no bedside table or lamp or even a chair on one side of the double bed.
