"I really enjoyed my experience at the hotel. Shame we didn't book for a whole week." (107791425)

The room was lovely and comfortable. It had all the facilities needed for the night and was great an overnight leisure stay.

We were on the ground floor so the view out of the window wasnt pleasing as it was only the back alley where all the extra broken furniture was dumped

Plumbing didn't work and I had to change rooms. They gave me a much nicer room, but there too there was trouble with the water.

Despite having sent a fax confirmation to the hotel, with all the details of our company credit card giving & authorisation for that card to be charged, the guest was forced to pay for the hotel himself - which is totally unacceptible. Our staff do not as a rule carry that amount of cash with them and the company pay for the accomodation as they are travelling on company business. I am far from impressed at this situation and will avoid using this hotel again for this reason.

Great value for the room, we were very surprised that it was so large after hearing london hotels were pricey! Furnishing was lovely & great big bed, which was very relaxing to sleep in. Wish we had stayed on for breakfast!

Only thing was that the checkin was a little confusing as I thought I had paid for the room before we arrived. Perhaps the internet site you book through needs to make that a little clearer when the email is sent through to confirm.

The toilet with a heater, it keeps me warm after my shower

The 7 steps of the staircase down to my roomm (room no. 113) is not practical and difficult for a lady with heavy luggages to carry them all the way up and down to the room.

"I was rather apprehensive, considering the low price (it didn't include breakfast, so I can't comment on that), and was very pleasantly surprised. A most enjoyable stay." (97788784)

More spacious than I expected for the price I was paying, especially the bathroom. Smart lobby and staff, a lift (not always available in hotels in this area), a private outlook from the window, i.e. not looking into other people's windows (I was on the top floor). THe staff I had dealingw with were friendly and efficient.

The only bad thing was the noise - I can sleep through noise, so it didn't worry me, but some people might find it difficult. In that case, perhaps they should specify a room at the back of the hotel when booking (it was a warm night, so I had the window open, and the room faced over the busy street).

Good value for the money when comparing to other hotels in the area.

"Double" bed was two singles pushed together with one slightly lower than the other. There was only one single cover sheet. There was no closet and no remote for the TV.

    1. Friendly staff. 2. Nice ambience. 3. Proximity to Paddington Road Station.

    1. Check in at 2 P.M. is very inconveniencing. 2. T.V. did not have remote. Reason stated was a shortage of remote controls in the hotel, which is inexcusible.

"Norfolk Towers hotel is very well located for a stay in London, particularly for people travelling up from the South West of England (three minute walk from Paddington train and tube stations.)The staff in reception were helpful and welcoming and although the accommodation was old-fashioned and tatty (worn carpets, torn wallpaper etc)it was clean and of a reasonable size. Although nothing happened, as a sole traveller I didn't feel terribly safe in the accommodation. The locks on the accommodation door were not secure and the hotel bar was rough and ready. Norfolk Towers is OK for an overnight stay when you just need somewhere to sleep but I would not choose this hotel for a longer stay." (97356463)

Location - very close to Paddington Train Station

Safety - locks on hotel door were not very secure. Didn't feel very safe in the hotel bar.

"At check-in it would help to have someone who actually spoke English, knew what he was doing and had a vague concept of what customer relations and service actually meant. The guy had obviously had a personality bypass." (97686509)

It was central. Comfortable but shabby.

The heating not working on a really cold weekend but the young black guy on reception was excellent and fixed it.

conveniently situated, they looked after our bags beyond our stay, helpful

It was fine, just an average hotel room. As usual one or two things not 100% perfect but overall fine.

Hotel is colse to Paddington station. The room I stayed is suitable for sole business traveler. Bath room is very clean.

"At £35 a night for a single room, this was very good value for this part of London. The room was very small but very clean, the bed was comfortable. It was located at the back, so very quiet: rooms overlooking the street must be much noisier (there's a very convenient bus stop just there). On the down side, continental breakfast at £5.95 is something of a rip-off considering what is on offer but £41 for bed & breakfast is quite reasonable indeed!" (97922386)

    Cleanliness, calm.

Bedside lamp not working; stuffy even when window open with cold outside.

The card for the door worked every time and was able to fit in my wallet. The room was very clean and though small was adequate for a single traveller. electrics blew three times in room and very noisy as customers from the bar were smoking directly outside window.
