Ideal location. Room was lovely with a nice terrace, (only one in the hotel I think). Staff very nice.

Au Manoir Saint Germain, Paris - Reviews & Ratings"This hotel is in an excellent location within walking distance of the Seine, the Louvre, Notre Dame and the Jardins du Luxembourg. There are many places to eat in the area with a good variety of cuisines available. The hotel is tall, narrow and very traditional in design. It is air conditioned and the rooms are comfortable, if a little small. I had read previous reviews that mentioned how small the lift is and they didn't exaggerate - my 10 yr old daughter and I could not fit in it together with our suitcases! She found this highly entertaining. It was not really a problem. The staff in the hotel were very pleasant and helpful and the ladies on reception spoke excellent English. The breakfast options were a little limited but quite adequate. I would be happy to recommend anyone to visit Au Manoir Saint-Germain." (3305033460)
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, particularly the lady at the reception desk. We also liked the location of the hotel.
Didn't really dislike anything, but we thought that the breakfast options were fairly limited.

The location was perfect - walking distance to the Louvre etc. The room was very small and so we were a bit disappointed with this but the location compensated. Buffet breakfast was excellent." The hotel benefited from its position in St Germain des Pres and is close to clothes shops, good restaurants and cafes - opposite is the famous Cafe de Flores. The hotel is within 10 mins walk of the Seine and the Louvre, and Notre Dame a further 10 mins away." (3304377671)
The hotel is in a reasonably busy area within easy reach of most of the major Parisian attractions. The local restaurants are good quality and the beer bar two doors away has the best range of beer's I've seen anywhere.

The street noise was not heard inside the room because of the double windows. The room had all necessary facilities and comfort and was kept very clean. I would stay there again without hesitation." The extremely helpful and polite staff. All without exception were patient and supportive when I tried to communicate with my limited French.
Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would be convenient. Although the staff on reception were happy to make a pot of coffee for me to take to my room at no extra cost.

Very quiet & cool, friendly staff. The Jacuzzi tub was great after walking all day.

Un tres bon accueil, un emplacement exceptionnel
La decoration, qui meriterait d`etre reconsideree par un oeil avise mais les points positifs la font oublier

"The hotel staff was very friendly to us (and especially considering that we are Americans). They really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, truly hospitable! I was ill one night and they made me some hot tea with lemon and honey. The continental breakfast included was also able to be delivered to our room which we took advantage of. It was nice to sit in our robes and drink our cafe au lait with croissants! We loved it and we plan to return to this hotel next spring." (99090207)
The room was newly decorated to look like an old cozy French chateau. We absoulutely loved it! The location was so close to the St. Germain metro stop, we simply crossed the street with our luggage plus a block and we had arrived. The location of the hotel was excellent, in between two nice restaurants and across from the two most famous cafe's in Paris. There were other great places to dine right there, as well as a lovely little Italian area near Rue du Buci with a grocery store and several bakeries. As for the room, it had indirect lighting which offered a lovely warm glow at night, perfectly bright but not harsh. The mattress was also a nice surprise, very comfortable.
It's true the rooms are on the small side but it's definitely do-able.
