Ramada Brighton, Hove - Reviews & Ratings"Generally very good, thank you." (107848229)
Staff were very helpful as I had a 4 month old baby with me.
Tricky with so many stairs (main entrance and up for breakfast) with a pram. Had a friend to help lift the pram and no staff offered to help. Also room was on the 1st floor yet we stated we had a pram, so maybe best to be on the ground floor...??

Ramada Brighton, Hove - Reviews & Ratings"The hotel, for its price, was very good and quiet, off-road parking a bonus. The only disappointment was stepping out of the front door and finding myself in Brighton. Luckily the door is a revolving type, so I was able to come straight back in again...." (107392022)
Great service, helpful staff, fantastic restaurant. Ironing board in room really helpful.
Somewhat bemused by the absence of drawers in the room - would have been nice to be able to put my socks somewhere.

Ramada Brighton, Hove - Reviews & Ratings"over all very disappointing. Will not stay with you again. purpose of the visit was to go to concert - will just drive home next time. I assumed that by booking with a hotel with your good reputation that we would have a nice room, but that did not happen. " (107534155)
Staff very friendly, service was good
very small room with a view of the fire escape. very noisy with stairs next to room. lots of noise from doors banging during the night. inconsiderate people shouting outside the room at 5.30am until 6.15am. noise from water being used upstairs carried into our room. Last point - I did not even know the sun was shining from our room window - not until I went downstairs was I able to see out side.

Ramada Brighton, Hove - Reviews & Ratings"Having stayed at several Ramada hotels both in the UK and the USA perhaps our expectations were to high for Brighton We were in Brighton for the funeral of my Mother, a stressful time enough without the couldnt care less attitude of your staff, being a disabled driver I find the full £15.00 charge for parking very expensive, I don't have a choice of parking away from the place of stay, all other car parks have concessions or even free parking for blue badge holders," (107353316)
Near to final destination, clean bedding, warm room.
Beds very uncomfortable, attitude of staff on comments made about 1. at breakfast when requesting full milk for cereal, reply there isnt any !! 2. when said hadnt slept very well due to uncomfortable beds, reply They are new !! Obviously the staff dont care , or need further training in people skills. 3. No concessions for disabled drivers reguarding car park charges.

There seemed to be a lack of toiletries, no toothpaste or conditioner. All hotels ive stayed in provide htese things. I also noticed there was only one large towel, as a couple we would of expected two.

Ramada Brighton, Hove - Reviews & Ratings"Clean rooms, good breakfast, fab location though hotel communal areas tired and a little lacking in style and that one receptionist did not set a good tone for otehr staff who were all very good." (107231559)
Ease of online booking, good location, staff helpful with storage of bags prior to and post check in, breakfast good and staff in breakfast room helpful and efficient as were all other staff bar one .... see below.
Woman on reception on our arrival appeared to have missed her Customer Service training sessions. She was surly, did not smile once, continually left us to wait mid check in whilst she did something else and generally gave the impression of it all being too much trouble for her. We had booked two twin rooms and, when one of the rooms was not satisfactory, she gave the impression that finding us a replacement was an enormous issue which was not the service you expect from any hotel chain.

Location wise, very good. Not too noisy but a relatively short walk from Brighton Pier and only slightly further to The Lanes. Good bars and restaurants close by.
Hotel seemed over hot.

Ramada Brighton, Hove - Reviews & Ratings"The location of the hotel was great for our purposes with loads of places of interest within easy walking distance. Breakfast was available until midday which was excellent. The choice of breakfast was good and tasted wonderful. The availability of car parking was a bonus. We were glad we got a reduced rate for the accomodation by booking with the 3rd party as the room rates advertised by the hotel were excessive." (97015111)
Lovely sea-front location. Close to all places of interest.
Long rambling corridors which I found very difficult to navigate.

Ramada Brighton, Hove - Reviews & Ratings"I feel that the noise is a known problem so I would have chosen a different room if I had been made aware. The hotel however is one I would use again but as stated would request a different room." (97133582)
The helpfull and friendly staff,The cleanliness and comfort of the room,a georgeous breakfast. And getting exactly what was requested.
Nobody at fault here, but at long last getting a sea view, was it worth it NO.Unfortunatly the price you pay is noise the sea front at Brighton is to noisy for us and kept us awake most of the night. Its either cars or noisy revellers getting home.

Ramada Brighton, Hove - Reviews & Ratings"overall it was very comfortable the beds particularly. but the lack of air in the rooms made it almost unbearable however i do appreciate that wouldn't be the case on every night it was particularly hot that night" (97611836)
there was a fan provided in the room.. the public areas were spacious and cool, the breakfast was excellant.
although there were lifts you still had to climb stairs to get to the rooms ( i have difficulties with stairs).. in the room you couldn't open the window more than a crack and on what was the hottest night of the year so far with not a breath of air coming in it was stifling in the rooms.. the parking is limited on a first come first served basis and with very little parking anywhere else it was a problem until a space became free the hotel had a disabled parking space at the front but didn't insist on a disabled user only parking there.

Ramada Brighton, Hove - Reviews & Ratings"We had a lovely time. The hotel was gorgeous. The only down side was the parking. There were no spaces in the hotel car park so we had to park in the public car park quite a way down the road which in heavy traffic wasn't much fun! Then we had to lug our bags etc to the hotel. The staff in the breakfast room left us standing by the check in area for some time. Several walked past but said nothing to us. It would have been so much better if they had simply acknowledged our presence and said ' someone will be with you in a minute'." (97432709)
We had a beautiful room with a balcony and sea view which we hadn't asked for. It was spotlessly clean and the bed was huge!!

Ramada Brighton, Hove - Reviews & Ratings"Extremely good value, a lovely hotel with a lot of character and original features. A perfect New Year break, hope to be back again next New Year." (97579095)
As recently refurbished the rooms were very clean and new. The outside of the hotel still has the old victorian features as the fantastic staircase inside. Lovely old building.
When checking in a member of staff tried to make me pay £60 more on my credit card in case of extras, she did not explain what she was doing and got very difficult when I queried it. One member of staff can make a big difference to the first impression, she needs lessons on good customer service!!!

Ramada Brighton, Hove - Reviews & Ratings"i did contact the hotel direct to make sure that my accommodation was next door to my friends and was assured that this was in place. on arrival we were told that we were on totally different floors and nothing could be done about it. i proceeded to tell the receptionist that someone had not done their job properly and was still told nothing could be done. the manager was nearby and obviously overheard this conversation and the problem was quickly resolved." (97235906)
we were all really happy with our accommodation. The breakfast was absolutely lovely and the rooms were really clean. the fact that the patio doors from our room led to a courtyard where we could all meet was an added bonus.

Very close to all amenities and opposite the beach, perfect location. Staff friendly and hotel very clean and modernised. Room cleaned daily with fresh towels.
Parking is limited (40 spaces) and if you do not manage to get a space then you have to park quite a few blocks away in a NCP carpark which is

I didnt like the fact I could not open my bedroom window, and that right outside my room was the fire escape, where staff or patrons were on this fire escape in the middle of the night making a lot of noise.

Ramada Brighton, Hove - Reviews & Ratings"Had a great room with sea view enhanced by big windows. The other hotels rooms were mere boxes and good for sleep only. Shower was easy to use and this means a lot to me as UK showers have been a problem in each trip I have had there, everyone is different and there are no instructions provided for use which could cause scalding. Ramada's had a one stroke operation. Food excellent, staff efficient, helpful,well-mannered and friendly. Told everyone I met how good the Ramada was." (99262045)
Stayed in several hotels during holiday , this was best, ahead by leaps and bounds.
