Friendly, welcoming service from all staff, which makes the whole experience of staying a pleasant one.

Provision basic but that is to be expected. TV channels a bit flaky but adequate.

"Stressful. Should have been a welcome break in a 15 hour journey but let me and my children distraught. An unpleasent experience. I was hoping to use Days inn again when I next visit my parents in Scotland but clearly having a large family will prohibit this." (108178823)

That dogs are allowed in the room free of charge. Good size room.

I arrived after a vert stressful 7 hour drive with 4 young children (all under 11) and a dog. Your website DIDNOT state a maximum number of children in a room only that "All children are welcome. All children under 16 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding". I was told that I could not stay as I exceeded the maximum room occupancy (I was travelling alone with my children). The receptionist told me that I had not told them of the number of children - this facility was not available on the booking process. And was not going to allow us to stay. With 4 children sobbing and myself very close to tears she finally relented telling me she was doing me a favour and she could lose her job. SHe was very unpleasent and basically called my a liar. The whole experience was very stressful and I feel totally discriminated against for having a larger than average family. I was not asking for extra bedding just a place for us to stay - the kids top and tailed and. No way would I have been able to have 2 rooms the children are too young to be left alone. The room itself was dirty, the curtains had holes in them and the carpet was stained.

"I would only stay (as a family) at this hotel again if there was nowhere else to go or say, if the Premier Inn at Hamilton was full. For single travellers and couples without young children, this hotel would probably be excellent. To avoid future misunderstanding, I suggest that the booking form is re-organised and reformulated so that the age of the children are clearly visible to the reception staff. If the hotel does not like families with under 5s, then perhaps this should also be spelt out prior to booking. Our family could have arranged to stay somewhere else. After all, I had booked the room a month in advance, it was not a last minute booking." (108507059)

The room was good with sufficient facilities and overall it represented good value for money.

I booked a FAMILY room at the begining of November for the night of the 22nd December. We were greeted by a grumpy receptionist on the 22nd December who all but accused me of lying on the booking form. There were 2 adults and 3 children (5 year old, 2 year old and 4 months old) yet she claimed that I had only booked for 2 adults and 1 child. As a result, she attemped to make me to pay for a higher room rate. I am certain, beyond any doubt, that I booked a family room for 2 adults and 3 children (5 year old, 2 year old and 4 months old). The fact that there was a cot in the room, in addition to 2 single beds and 1 double appears to prove that a family of 5 was expected/accommodated.

"Fine for an overnight stay." (108916405)

Clean, warm room with adjustable heating and usual facilities, as a single traveller enjoyed having breakfast brought to my room. Staff were very happy and welcoming.

Curtains were not properly attached to the rail and the handles on the windows were broken but this didn't cause a problem. Presentation of the cafeteria is unwelcoming, and it could have been cleaner. Food was basic but edible.

"Generally the overnight stay was good and provided a comfortable night for both of us. The facilities were good value for the money we paid. As the weather had turned to a heavy snow fall that was making driving conditions hazardous we were pleased we had booked this room in advance. " (108132991)

Room adequate for the overnight stay we had planned on our route to holidaying in Inverness, Scotland. The bed was comfortable and was a good size; nice clean bedding and towels in the bathroom. Room was warm enough during our stay. The room had good basic facilities.

I would have liked the shower to be more powerful. I would like to see the teas / coffee making facilities to have different coffee and milk. This is down to personal taste as I prefer fresh milk and filter coffee.

To our delight room was warm and comfortable as we arrived on a VERY cold night

A larger size bed would fit comfortably in this room (neither of us is over-weight!). Food available in adjacent restaurant at 20.30 was "freshly-cooked" but poor in quality. We had lasagne and chicken

Despite very late arrival, check-in was very efficient and friendly. Room was spotless.

We were allocated a room which looked out onto the noisy air conditioning plant of the adjacent motorway services building - but our request for a quieter room was met immediately and efficiently.

Thehotel adeqautely serves my purpose. The staff are always friendly efficient and helpful I have stayed here 5 or 6 times this year and will continue to use the hotel in future. The rates are very good for my purposes." (108599241)

Low price. Convenient for my client's location the next day.

Purely a bed for the night at thye side of a motorway - no frills at all. Apparently the hotel was nowhere near full, but I was told "no chance of an upgrade when you only paid £39".

We stayed in 'dog friendly room' with our chocolate labrador 'Joe'. He enjoyed the room. We found the room extremely comfortable and suited our purposes for a break in our journey.

Perhaps a small fridge or perhaps a 'communal fridge' at reception could be provided.
