Hotel in good location, adequately warm, not overwhelmed with over attentive staff.
A little run down, room somewhat bare and rather a lot of short starcases. Also carpet a bet threadbare

Queens Hotel & Spa, Brighton - Reviews & Ratings"Very good stay, just marred by the position of the room." (108936796)
The Queens Hotel is very good on the whole, Breakfast is excellent, the leasure complex is great and the staff are kind and friendly.
Unfortunately, although we booked sometime in advance, rooms are allocated on arrival, Our plane was delayed and we arrived about 1930 to be offered a smoking room on the fourth floor, which smelt very strongly of cigarets or room 116 which we took, not knowing there are three nightclubs outside the window and bawling and shouting went on until 3.0 am

Queens Hotel & Spa, Brighton - Reviews & Ratings"adequate but not special" (108912235)
linen was clean and comfortable bar area good service. the spa is excellant and the staff in the spa really friendly i would return to the hotel for the use of the spa and the leisure facilities
bathroom was really bad room 100 had been abused previously by the look of it and it was quite noisy in our room near to the street because i had my son with me i wish this had been pointed out as i would have requested a higher room. we were not allowed to park outside despite other vehicles being issued with permits that were not disabled and there was space

Queens Hotel & Spa, Brighton - Reviews & Ratings"Very good, apart from the point raised above." (107147129)
Clean, light, tastefully decorated room with lovely sea view. Good breakfast - wide choice and well prepared food.
Wanting to make the most of the one day we had in Brighton, we arrived early (around 10.30 am), assuming we would be able to leave our case safely at the hotel until check-in in the afternoon. However, we found the system for leaving luggage less than satisfactory: cases had to be left in a room to which anyone in the foyer seemed to have access and no receipts or cloakroom tickets were given. The staff did point out that articles were left at our own risk but we did not want to carry our case around for four hours so did not really have an option. We would have been much happier if the luggage could have been kept in a secure area, for example behind the reception desk.

- had a swimming pool, central location,
- room service finished early as they had a wedding in - surely guests of the hotel should take priority over events? - room and hotel was a bit drab for the money - for a reletively exopensive hotel, I expected a better standard!

Very central, spacious room with a good sea view. The Polish barman and breakfast staff were very helpful and accommodating. The check-in and check-out times are more generous than many.
The talking lift is irritating, the bedroom windows whistled due to a constant draft. The bathroom door was very difficult to open due to a tight knob!! (Door-knob).

Queens Hotel & Spa, Brighton - Reviews & Ratings"All in all a very nice hotel and I experienced a good time there. My only upset was to find out on arrival that the lanes leisure facilities were shut due to refurbishment which was very annoying as that was one of the reasons I chose the hotel." (99155323)
The accommodation was very fresh looking and modern the entrance was lovely, very warm and welcoming with the beautifull christmas trees. My room was bright and clean and had everything I should need.
The view from the window was very depressing. The room was very large but that also meant very cold the small radiator wasn't powerfull enoughfor the size of the room. I felt the layout of the dressing table,tv,lamp etc could have been better. The pictures also vould have been more interesting, very dull.

Location to amenities - size of room
Room wasn't ready when we arrived, had to wait over an hour. Breakfast buffet - very poor - by 9am they had run out of basics, even though it ran until 11am. Space available for breakfast too small, had to wait for a table.

The only thing was the noise outside of the hotel, we were woken at 6am when a woman was shouting because she was being arrested.

The leisure club is a great bonus and we always enjoy several swims while we are there. The breakfasts are very good and the staff are always very friendly. We have recommended the Hotel on many occasions and look forward to staying there again on our next visit to Brighton." (97506640)
Comfortable bed, plenty of hanging space and nice toiletries in the bathroom
Room 212 was very noisy into the early hours, because of a night club in the street below. There was water leaking from the ceiling in the bathroom from the light fitting.

Your evening desk person put us in his personal phone and made sure we got out wake up call at 6am and a reminder - personally from him a 6:10. Great service. In Oxford - we never got our cll and missed our train - your hotel made sure that didn't happen. Thank You" (99360406)

it was a nice clean modern hotel.
we didnt get to sleep as our rooms were right at he back of the hotel and above and next to pubs and clubs without double glazed windows. i think this lets the hotel down a great deal we were quite dissapointed as it was such a nice hotel and that lets it down.

Hotel was in a great location close to everything. We stayed in a sea view room well worth the extra money.
Thought it was a tad expensive, the room rate didnt buy any food or drink in the hotel so not sure what the prices were for that.

Location, price
Noise from street until very late. Hot water needs to run for too long before it gets hot (and there is a notice asking to not waste water)
