Royal San Marco, Venice - Reviews & Ratings"we enjoyed our stay thorughly." (107415098)
the only thing we ddin't like was that we were told their is a complementary one way trip to glass factory to murano and we had to wait for one hour and in the end we were told no taxi is available and we had to take public transport. if were told in the begining we would have gone on our own. rest everything was fine.

Royal San Marco, Venice - Reviews & Ratings"Location and overall experience" (97866632)
The whole hotel experience, pretty nice decorated with venetian style, excellent locations. Staff really helped and were very kind and polite. The breakfast in a box was complete and good, we didn't know about the free drinks but overall it was an excellent experience.
One if the light bulbs didn't work.

Royal San Marco, Venice - Reviews & Ratings"The breakfast room was small, and some guests had to wait for tables. It was understaffed, with only one or two waitresses who struggled to keep the breakfast bar replenished, and at least one morning was 15 minutes late in opening from the advertised times which makes planning travelling difficult. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and spoke good English. The location is superb, being less than a minute from St. Mark's square." (99024322)
The room was clean and well-serviced.
Limited size of room, inadequate drawer space for staying more than a couple of nights, overlooked internal courtyard

"We enjoyed our peaceful night's sleep in a clean luxury hotel." (108533330)
The Royal San Marco was well worth the cost. It was luxurious, clean and quiet. The breakfast was delicious...especially the freshly baked croissants. We found it easy to reach the hotel from the cruise terminal, using the direct route of the Alilaguna boat service a short walk from the terminal. From the San Marco stop, we had a short direct walk to the hotel. When returning to the airport, we used the Rialto stop as a direct route via the Alilaguna boat service again.
