  very central

  Although the room was adaquate for our needs believe we were over some kind a machinery as there was a constant(night as well) buzzing noise, perhaps some kind of sound proofing installed.

  "Check in was easy and English was spoken by both receptionists, but always a good idea to practice your Spanish, as staff were helpful and friendly. Hotel is obviously geared to catering for large parties ie coach tours etc. Breakfast buffet was excellent and very good value for money. We would not stay on Mojacar Playa again but would prefer to stay up in Mojacar Pueblo next time." (2734213)

  The hotel was easy to find and had ample parking spaces (Oct/Nov). The setting of the rooms, within a garden area with stream, waterfalls and mature planting. Large patio/terrace would be much used on a longer stay. Security could be a problem if you forgot to close terrace door as access to room (ground floor) is just a step over the rail from the pathway.

  Rooms are fairly dark, needing to have lights on most of the time.

  Clean, tidy, comfortable, spacious, helpful staff. good value. no complaints whatsoever.

  "Email complaint already sent - not acknowledged! The email content as below: First complaint – the website does not have a proper process for making a complaint! We stayed at the Hotel El Puntazo hotel in Mojacar in Spain on Thursday night (1st September 2005). Our complaints about the quality of, and service in, this hotel are endless but I will summarise the main points Booked via the internet via your website – but the hotel had no record of our arrival and booking – apparently the third case involving Active Hotels that day! The room we were placed in was unbelievably poor – musty, smoky atmosphere – shower not properly working – very basic furniture and beds – unclean! We complained to reception but they were unwilling to do anything The breakfast the following morning was cold and of poor quality – with the service inside of the restaurant being very shoddy and arrogant. To pay 119 Euros for one night in this Hotel (a misnomer) is a serious travesty and I expect a full refund of the monies paid. Also I want to complete a guest review for this hotel – to warn other would-be bookers of what they are letting themselves in for – but I doubt whether you will accede to this request as you are only looking for good reviews to go on the site. A prompt reply and refund would be appreciated." (2674878)

  "the amenities in the hotel room were excellant. More extra were provided than in an equivalent British hotel. The town however, was not too clean!" (2003492)

  "Overall very happy with the hotel and would be happy to return in the future" (2328821)

  The location in town, near beech, use of pool.

  The breakfast wasn't great, although as it wasn't included we were able to go elsewhere.

  "We had reservations after we bookied as it was listed as a one star hotel. When we arrived we were pleasanty surprised as it was a very nice, cean hotel. We requested a top floor with sea view, and as it was only booked 2 days prior we did not expect to get it but we had a lovely room on the top floor with a huge terrace overooking the beach. The restaraunt was a lovely place to eat and nothing was too much trouble." (1942547)

  el servicio del comedor fue muy atento y amable.

  El dis de llegsda el servicio de recepción pesimo. Las atenciones especiales no se tuvieron en cuenta para nada, teniendo habitaciones sobrantes nos metieron en una que había que subir las escaleras, cuando de antemano comente que mi mujer estaba embarazada.

  "Son emplacement dans la ville. A quelle distance se trouve-t-il de la mer? La précision de la tenue éxigée ou non pour le repas du soir. La qualité de son restaurant en étoile." (2202997)

  piéces aérées.Chambre spacieuse. Vue mer(quelques chambres) acceuil professionel, et parlant français.

  Accés difficile à pied aux chambres pour les personnes à mobilité réduite.
