Saint-James & Albany Hotel-Spa, Paris - Reviews & Ratings"OK" (97440310)
location, quality bedding, especially pillows
some maintenance needed - drains are very slow, TV's outdated, no internet access, furniture a bit sparse booked via internet - wasn't clear if there was a different option for family (2 kids) or junior suite the only option / pricing the same?. Pool block out for children not mentioned, pool of of service for half our sray at hotel - only reason I booked this hotel was the pool (nice break for kids after a lot of walking) - with block out times in being out of order this turned out to be a total waste of time.

Saint-James & Albany Hotel-Spa, Paris - Reviews & Ratings"Friendly, helpful and prompt service. Overall standards high, making it difficult to identify specific 'likes' and making our 'dislikes' appear disproportionate as a result. We felt well looked after and would certainly stay there again." (97323513)
Ideal location.
Dim lighting in room. Information on hotel services lacking in rooms. Breakfast is a bit of a free-for-all at peak times. Keep an eye on the self-boil egg facility in the breakfast room to ensure that you don't end up trying to eat a raw egg if another guest has hijacked the one you put in originally. Now that smoking is banned in hotels, restaurants etc at home, it was a bit disappointing to find people puffing away in the bar and lounges, although the smoke did not seem to accumulate and the hotel remained fresh throughout our stay.

Saint-James & Albany Hotel-Spa, Paris - Reviews & Ratings"the hotel's location is perfect for visit to the louve, short walk to place vendome and rue de fauborg st honore..a catholic church nearby, metro station is almost in front, and rer station is 10 minute walk away,,and great restaurants all around the building in varying price categories. Paris is definitely more fun when, you stay in a hotel like st.james." (99178591)
this is one of the few hotels, that delivers what it says in its website truthfully. The hotel and staff really performed beyond our expectations.
the weekday breakfast hour is too short, it should be till eleven am like on weekends.

"Loved the stay. Will be back." (108010803)
Lovely room with adequate space. Good minibar although a bit expensive. Great location - 5 minutes from Louvre and has a Tuilleri metro station right outside. Good service by staff - all speak good English.
No selection of English channels (only BBC and CNN news). Expensive WiFi (40 euros per hour).
