  "Way over charged the first night." (99062400)

  It was close to the main railway station

  I was charged way over the top on the first night because of some fair in town which I new nothing about.Also a bag of washing went missing.

  "The Savoy is a generally well equipped and maintained hotel, in a good location with helpful staff. However in England it would not make 4 star status." (97847792)

  The staff were very helpful, the location was good and the pool was quiet.

  'Thin walls'! We could here the neighbouring rooms bathrooms. In addition when one of the fore mentioned rooms was smoking the smell lingered in our room for some time.

  "I found the hotel in a surprisingly quite location considering it was opposite the main railway station, though not too convenient for the main shopping area of Frankfurt, this was at least a 15 minute walk. Check in was very efficient. A very good buffet breakfast was available from 6.30am until 10.30am, with plenty to satisfy the most discerning palate and very obliging when asked for cold milk for tea. Coffee was placed automatically on the table if you wanted coffee. Free newspapers also supplied. A nice touch. Reception was quite helpful and on the whole very pleasant. The hotel room was clean though no literature about the hotel facilities, laundry, sauna etc. This would have been welcomed, though the hotel operator was very helpful when I obviously was not succcessfully obtaining an outside line Free soft drinks in the mini bar was also much appreciated."   Room and bathroom clean. Mini bar was replenished every day with free soft drinks, this was much appreciated.

  No literature on the hotel facilities e.g. breakfast, how to obtain an outside line, other facilites the hotel offered. No tea and coffee facilites in the hotel room. Room slightly noisy at night due to air conditioning.

  "My stay was a stopover only, but I will surely return for a vacation" (99082141)

  A nice, quite hotel, located near the train station and the underground. Very helpful staff. The room was comfortable and suited to my needs.
