Excellent location, views, well maintained gardens. Rooms quite spacious. Restaurant and bar areas pleasant. Plenty of TV channels.
Good breakfast, dinner average. Staff friendly but appeared to be mostly untrained students. Warm white wine poured out with dinner, for example. Telephone not working in room and no aircon.

The standard of the food ,especially at thr Golden Wedding celebration, was excellent. Breakfast was very good and served by staff who were willing and able.
The food at breakfast could have been hotter although I know how difficult it is to keep things hot in a Baine Marie without it drying out.

I was very please with the overall experience of staying in this hotel. I had requested a nice quite room and was given one at the end of the corridor which had a firm bed. This was a bonus as my husband suffers from a weak back and as some hotel beds are so soft this was great.
