Hotel is small and staff are friendly and very efficient. Rooms are a reasonable size and bedrooms are well dressed and comfortable. Bathrooms could do with a little updating and water pressure when having a shower is a little low.
At present you have to check in within the main restaurant which is awkward. I understand that there are plans to alter this arrangement in the near future

The staff were so welcoming and friendly, the rooms and the main areas we saw of the hotel were extremly clean, the bed was very firm, which was great for me,overall an excellent stay.
Some people may not like the firmness of the mattress. I was not wowed by the food, but hotel overall is excellent

Good loction and good restaurant.
Room somewhat cramped for the price. Price charged thro'activehotels greater than would have been through personal booking.

"staff great, did their best for us, but the hotel felt neglected. I know it's changing hands & no-one wants to spend money on necessary upgrades.We were the only people staying which didn't bode well @ the time.I have written & complained to the management, no reply as yet." (108727887)
well situated in ashbourne,good staff , excellent breakfast
room freezing during the night & morning, with not enough warm bedding. My daughter moved her bedding onto the floor as she could feel the slats through the mattress, both of us had an uncomfortable night, not a good start for our business meeting.
