Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Safe secure off road parking.
The restaurant only served 3 course dinners - no snacks or smaller meals.

The food is extremely good and is the only reason we book at this hotel
The hotel rooms have an air of tiredness about them and whilst clean do not inspire one to do other than spend as few waking hours as possible in them

Dont expect tea and coffee making facilities as this is not the French way. Just expect good accomadation, nice food and non english speakig hosts. The TV is in French but then again your are in France so what do you expect. Bon Voyage!" (99723115)

The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the restaurant was excellent
The room was cold at check-in time (3pm) and the heating did not come on until past 4pm which during a winter stay was not very welcoming.

Hotel Restaurant Les Cèdres, Camiers Ste-Cécile - Reviews & Ratings"The hotel is in a plain village with few amenities. Staff were polite. The breakfast was very basic and not really worth the money. Cold croissants and rolls, eggs and 'bacon' that was kept warm for what seemed a long period as the eggs were congealed. The fruit salad had run out by 9am on one day and staff were unable to provide any more despite us and others pre booking breakfast. The bar was not staffed and was very limited. It was closed and in darkness at 10pm!" (99445888)

Accommodation is not outstanding and the breakfast for which you are asked to pay separetely is not worth the price asked. I would recommed that you bring your own breakfast or go elsewhere." We arrived late due to a delay in the ferry crossing. The hotel left keys out and we were able to use the room. That was excellent and very welcome.
The breakfast was poor and overpriced for the quality of the food provided.

Very clean and spacious rooms. Nicely decorated. We especially liked the fact we got lots of towels, as we had just stayed in another hotel the week before that gave us two towels for three of us. The staff were extremely freindly and helpful.

Accomodation is good value for money.
Rooms at the front suffer from intolerable heat if it is sunny (Mid July 06)- No air conditioning.

I had read the reviews so knew in advance that the 'picture' was of the front building and that accommodation was in a new 'block' of modern design behind this. Seems to be 'family run'. Although we had paid for breakfast it was only by chance that we found out that this included an omelette if required. We had to ask for this at breakfast,it did not appear that it was going to be 'offered'.

The breakfast buffet was excellent for our group of 10 guys each morning and the room accomodation was clean and tidy. The service from the hotel staff at evening dinner and at the small hotel bar each evening was 1st class. We had a very good trip." (3304007051)
Although basic accomodation the rooms were clean and tidy. Booking -In at Reception was easy and the Reception staff very helpful.
Nothing everything was fine. Minor point some of the guys would have liked tea/coffee making facilities within their room but this was not a major issue.

But for the hospitality of the proprieters we would have found it impossible to find a restaurant locally and would have had to drive in the dark and cold to Le Touquet or even Hardelot." (2980119)
Very clean and comfortable. Lots of hot water and excellent if small ensuite bathroom. (Not all rooms are en-suite it would seem)
The photo and general information is misleading. Hotel accomodation is at the back in a modern and not at all archiecturally interesting building unlike the illustration although it is functional. We had no indication that the whole establishment was about to close for the winter. This was more than compensated for by the charm , and willingness to prepare a very acceptable meal in our room at a time that suited us.

Room and bathroom very clean with lots of towels near an excellent beach. The staff very friendly, my only complaint is they allow pets in the rooms and in the resturant. Food good." (2868538)

Excellent welcome and very friendly staff.
The rubber materss protector was very noisy and made the bed very hot. A fabric one would make all the difference.
