Gareth, the manager, was excellent - welcoming and hospitable, as were all the staff. The food was good value and of a high quality, and the hotel exactly as described. Tea and coffee facilities in the room much appreciated. Parking was easy. Hotel perfectly situated in the centre of town.
Shower not great, and a leaking cold tap in the basin (more than a drip). Shade missing from left hand over-bed lamp, and recently cleaned, uncracked glass in the window would have been good.

Food was excellent. Person who booked us in and organised us a table for dinner at short notice when it was busy was very helpful. Room was comfortable and clean.
Shower was not very hot and the shower head was too small. Was difficult to find where to check in when arrived and to gain anyone's attention but it was very busy.

friendly helpful staff. location. nice warm friendly pub. ecellent value food.
Room was a little tired. wallpaper peeling in areas and lino in bathroom coming away. windows a little dirty and being a front room was noisy outside due to sache windows.
