Les Jardins D'ulysse, Cucq - Reviews & Ratings"This is not a hotel as such, more a purpose-built bed and breakfast lodge. There is no lounge so, other than your room (and balcony), only the garden in which to relax and that obviously depends on the weather. We found it expensive at 194 euros (" (108002680)

Gardens absolutley beautiful and breakfast in the dining room looking out onto the garden was a wonderful relaxing way to start the day.
the mini bar wasn't very well stocked and quiet expensive, the tv speakers seemed to have blown which was a pain but the room was very well designed and luxurious. We also couldn't connect to wifi internet which was pain

Clean, modern, quiet
No major problems, but only one bathrobe and hotel information was sparse and or missing from room

Les Jardins D'ulysse, Cucq - Reviews & Ratings"Excellent and will stay again. We did have a 'superior room' with balcony. Breakfast would have been disappointing if not part of a 'special' Very petty - having boasted of rooms with Tea making facilities, the kettle was labled 2 Euros a cup, which sets an undeserved/unneccessary tone. Overall, excellent and super value." (97858827)
New, fresh, tasteful with comfortable bed.

The room was comfortable and very well-furnished.
The house had little atmosphere and, outside the room, no facilities apart from a good breakfast. Although I was pleased to find a room at the last minute when most other accommodation nearby was booked, I felt the charge for the room was very high.

Les Jardins D'ulysse, Cucq - Reviews & Ratings"I have no complaints as the Hotel catered for our needs. Although there was no dining facility, there were a number of good restaurants a short car journey away." (97841235)
We were in company with an elderly friend whowas totally deaf partialy sighted with slight mobility problems. The hotel was sensitive to his needs. The fact that the ground floor was on one level was excellent. I would fully recommend this Hotel.
an extra pillow would have been appreciated.

Les Jardins D'ulysse, Cucq - Reviews & Ratings"We were lost so telephoned the hotel and they sent someone to find us. A very delightful service. The two dogs at the hotel, Elliott and Teddy were just lovely. The overall feel was friendly, com ortable and agreeable. Excellent breakfast. Nice rooms. The DVD pkayer in the room was a good touch and the room was very clean modern and comfortable. Nice grounds. Our one criticism. The breakfast room, though labelled as a non-smoking area, smelt of stale cigarettes in the morning." (99196902)
Relaxed charm, friendly and helpful staff ... and lovely dogs
Insructions on how to get there could have been clearer

Les Jardins D'ulysse, Cucq - Reviews & Ratings"The room was clean and well decorated, and the location beautiful and peaceful. Breakfast was well thought out apart from a lack of croissants. Hotel services were rather poor - but reflect the 3 star rating. However We would definately stay here again, just be more prepared for the lack of amenities such as no soap or tissue replacement and charging for tea and coffee sachets in room and mini bar not being topped up each day." Les Jardins D'ulysse, Cucq - Reviews & Ratings"A great hotel, clean with friendly staff and easy access to Le Touquet. The shower should have had a 'stand up' facility, and the curtains in the bedroom were too small to cover the entire window. This meant that too much light filtered into the room in the morning, and gave inadequate privacy, (our room was at the front of the hotel, on the ground floor, overlooking the carpark!) Other than that an excellent choice of hotel." (99430035)
Modern, clean and bright, with good access to Le Touquet. Good size room and bathroom
No facility for a 'stand up' shower, and a window curtain that was too small

Les Jardins D'ulysse, Cucq - Reviews & Ratings"The hotel has its own car park. It is about 4 miles from the centre of Le Touquet shops and restaurnts. Check in was excellent and I was showen to my room. It was verey clean, quiet and large air-conditioned room with a large comfortable bed. plenty of hot water for a good soak in the bath. Breakfast was a Continetal buffet with plenty of choice. Well worth the money." (99314429)
comfortable bed and verey quiet
No whare to hang the shower head for a stand up shower in the bath, I think it depends on which room you booked into.

It would be nice to have a fitting at shoulder/head height to enable guests to have a shower in comfort.

Les Jardins D'ulysse, Cucq - Reviews & Ratings"This is a very lovely hotel in peaceful setting newly decorated with good facilities in the room. Highly recommended if you want a quiet retreat." (99033469)
The hotel is very peaceful in lovely country surrounding but not too far away from LeTouquet. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the rooms are of a very good standard. It is the perfect place if you want a quiet peaceful retreat.
The only negative point is that there is no high location on the bathroom wall to enable you to have a shower standing up. You have to shower holding the shower head or sit in the bath. This was really annoying.

We liked the lovely scents in the air - the Ikea styling, the balcony, peace and quiet, friendly reception and the bathroom which has twin basins and is constantly warm!! We will stay agin if we go to Le Touque.

Les Jardins D'ulysse, Cucq - Reviews & Ratings"Locating the hotel was a little difficult as we believed it to be in Cucq village itself but it was on the D143.A visit to the local Hotel de Ville(Near the Post Office) solved that problem. English was not spoken there but the staff helped by providing a local map-this may help others. The standard of hotel accomodation and cleanliness could not be bettered. We were made very welcome and we hope to return next March. There are plenty of eating places in Le Touquet and Etaples." (99900110)
The Manageress made us feel so very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble even to booking a table for dinner at a LOCAL restaurant. We arrived Monday afternoon and most restaurants are closed Monday and Tuesday evenings but she tried to find one that was open. To no avail and she was very concerned for us. However there were a number of places in Le Touquet so we did not go hungry!!!

Room was very spacious, clean, big firm bed, excellent TV / DVD, although didnt have time to use, bathroom also v good. minibar also not used.. concerned to see 2 euros sticker on side of kettle for tea / coffee sachet use, which spoiled the rest of the quality. Overall very good. Would stay again." (99994630)

Les Jardins D'ulysse, Cucq - Reviews & Ratings"The hotel owners were nowhere to be seen on our arrival, at 8.00 p.m. We were unable to gain access to the hotel. We did say we would arrive after 7pm. There was a number to phone and when we eventually did so the owner told us to collect a key from a box by the door and let ourselves in. This was not a very customer friendly way of dealing with hotel guests. However, the room and the breakfast were excellent, so despite the strange welcome, we would happily stay there again." Tasteful decor - rooms very well equipped
No-one at the hotel on our arrival to greet us or check us in.

Les Jardins D'ulysse, Cucq - Reviews & Ratings"Not really an hotel as UK visitors will understand it - more a B&B. The place was not easy to find and we drove around for quite a while trying. The tourist Information Office gave us directions but even then there was some confusion. Room was small and the shower was hand held without a high Hook to place it in. The extractor fan in the bathroom did not appear to work nor the air conditioner unit. In our opinion not good bvalue for money. The breakfast arrangements were fine. We did not mention these points to the owner - who was personally very helpful." (97130535)
The double lobby is good for avoiding the noise of guests using the wooden stairs
The hotel is more like a B&B rather than an hotel. It is priced at the very top end of the market and is similar to the Hotel du Parc in Hardelot in price terms but is not anything like as good. Overall - disappointing

Les Jardins D'ulysse, Cucq - Reviews & Ratings"Because of a sickness, I tried to cancel the stay in the hotel. I had 2 calls with the owner, but he did not want to cancel the room (although I've called 4 days in advance). He told me the booking couldn't be cancelled without paying full price because I made the reservation via internet. So, I gave the trip to my parents in law because if I had to pay full price it was better that someone was enjoying. Unfortunately, I'm paying for something I didn't have. My parents in law phoned me afterwards to say the hotel was OK." (3305140641)
