great location in middle of Ilkley for pubs and restaurants , if young couple late bar till 2am , food very good
we were in loft room could be a problem for people with walking difficulties ,if on lower floors if you go to bed early on e/ends may be noisy

Very noisy late at night, as people were out on the street. Rather expensive for what it was.

The outside noise from the town - we were warned about this but it did make it difficult to sleep.

Cheap and good location, they even did an early breakfast for us.
The accommodation was above a pub open until 2AM. Check-in was up to 10PM and I had to cut short an event to get here on time. I could have checked in later and had the full event.

The hotel specialises as a base for walkers in Wharfedale, and is central in Ilkley. It provides a good breakfast. It is not expensive.
The room I had was directly below the roof and a bit warm. Traffic noise was serious in the morning, so if you want to lie in - ask for earplugs! The hotel is also a pub and the building is old, so do not expect too much.

Handy location, not as bad as internet 'chat' reviews
A bit tired and grubby. Noisy due to overlooking main street and no double glazing and 'unusual' DJ'ing that went on to 2am.

Nice clean room with plenty of space. Comfy bed. Late bar and Beer was fab. Despite the late bar our room was away from any noise that carried on after we went to bed.
Breakfast wasn't included in price and had to be ordered separately, consequently we went for breakfast on way home. Card machine wasn't up and running which confused payment process as I had given details online but then had to pay cash the next morning. Only a cleaner available to help with checkout procedure and payment.
