Abbatis Villa Jean De Bruges, Saint - Riquier - Reviews & Ratings"Stayed three nights, as part of a four week touring holiday that took in London, Paris, regional France & Belgium. Excellent part of the holiday" (107770888)
Excellent atmosphere, attentive owner / operators, great location, romantic and pleasant
Shower - good by Europe standards - mediocre by Aus / US standards. Shower is a flexible line in the bath, rather than fixed over bath or seperate walk in shower. Air conditioning - in the room specification - is a mobile, "window vented" reverse cycle system, and the room was at times warm and muggy, not expected in a 200E plus room. It would provide relief if used, but a huge amount of set up involved and limited cooling ability. Why no real reverse cycle air con is a mystery, but aligns with - or better than - other Chateau in France that we have visited.

Abbatis Villa Jean De Bruges, Saint - Riquier - Reviews & Ratings"A very good place to stay between the Somme WWI memorial sites and the coast, both of which are very impressive. Location of hotel is very pleasant, in a square and next to the Abbey, with a cafe opposite. The only downside of St Riquier is the lack of a good restaurant in the village." (97942119)
Hotel public rooms very nicely presented. Staff helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent.
Our room (6) was simple, with wardrobe in an ante-room which was a bit inconvenient. However bathroom was very good standard.

Abbatis Villa Jean De Bruges, Saint - Riquier - Reviews & Ratings"We believed that there was a restuarant at the hotel and having taken our 80yr old father were disappointed to find that it did not. But there was an excellent Auberge 10mins walk away so it all worked out well." (99386343)
Friendly staff and comfortable rooms

An interesting building, spotlessly clean, with helpful staff. Good buffet breakfast.
