The landscaping was beautiful with flowers everywhere. The view from our room looked out on the Serra Estrela with the wooded valley below. The staff were very friendly and helpful.Breakfast was very nice with fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal bread and jam but a a bit late so no coffee until 8:30 AM.
Except for the late breakfast there were no bad points as far as we are concerned.

beautiful setting and lovely characteristic hotel with pleasant owners and staff. very reasonably priced and tasty set menu at dinner time.
the junior suite we stayed in was a bit cold despite having the heating on at maximum. slightly later check out time would have been appreciated (12 instead of 11 for example)

Cosy hotel, very nice for romantic weekend's, view is excellent, staff is nice.
not to many attencion for details in cleanliness and guest service. very small choice in the buffet breakfast, and the heating was not very strong.

nice atmosphere, clean rooms and surroundings (swimmingpool), nice owners, excellent food, great dogs!
a welcome drink would be nice after a long drive; we heared the last night at dinner that walking paths are available! Would be nice when we were informed earlier during our stay.
