"We went for a weekend getaway. We ended up going to the hotel that was sponsoring a 1/2 ironman. Unfortunately, I do not think this hotel was organized to support the event. It took about 1/2 hour to be seated for breakfast- even though there were plenty of open seats and most people were ordering the buffet." (108728249)
The facility was very nice. There was a nice pool.
We had reserved a King room with a large balcony and ocean view. When we were taken to our room we were given 2 double beds and patio that you couldn't even walk on and a ocean view. When we asked to be changed into the room we payed for and reserved, we were given much grief. After threatening to leave, we were finally given the room we asked for. Over the rest of our stay we realized that there were many vacant rooms and there was no real reason we had so much problem getting the room we payed for.
