This hotel has been lovingly renovated by the current owners and it is certainly reflected within the hotel. We could not fault this lovely quaint hotel and the breakfast is lovely! The room we were in was room 25 and what a splendid room - absolutely gorgeous. It is spotless clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Bed and linen very clean. Bed was Super king size and although very comfortable was slightly too big for room,
Bed was Super king size and although very comfortable was slightly too big for room leaving little space at either side to get in and out and open drawers etc Could do with a towel rail in shower room. Meals and drinks perhaps a little expensive.

Breakfast, times of breakfast, heating. Were only Bed and Breaksfast but had had dinner on one occassion which was first class. Young couple who ran hotel were very friendly as were the rest of staff we came across. Would have no hesitation on returning here

Very comfortable, the staff couldn't be more helpfull. The distance from the conference ( concert ) hall was just right, not being to near the noise of the town. The high tea was very good value.
We were a bit dissapointed that the information file in the bed room didn't contain the Roman Catholic Church,although 8 other churches were listed.

staff friendly and welcoming very comfortable superb breakfast and relaxed atmosphere
men drilling outside however this was outwith their control manager did apologise

the hotel was very central and even though we only stayed one night the staff were very good, we had to be away early in the morning but we still managed to get our breakfast
