The hotel was clean and in good condition and the staff were friendly
The weekend that I stayed my cousin was staying in a different room. She has the same first initial and last name as me and it caused no end of confusion. We we're both contacted twice prior to the weekend to make sure it wasn't a double booking. Each day we had to keep reminding the staff who was who. We found that on Saturday night and Sunday morning we had no hot water for a shower. I questioned the staff about this and I was told that if too many people have a shower then the hot water runs out. That seems rediculous for a b&b that only has 6 rooms and I know that mine and my cousins had no hot water.

The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble, really impressed. Hotel newly refurbished and excellent.

Very good restaurant and staff helpful. Dinner was good and value for money.
No hot water for morning shower. No breakfast facilities at all. No VAT receipt given - I had to ask for one. Had to pay for room on check-in and unable to put dinner etc on room account. This made sense in the morning as no one was about!!
