Staff friendly and helpful. Reception area and cafe/brasserie very clean and welcoming with a good atmosphere. Quality of food at breakfast was good. evening meal was excellent. View from room lovely.
Room poorly furnished [lacked suitable drawer space for clothing] No towel rail in bathroom. Beds small and uncomfortable.Certainly not what should be expected of a executive room. Restaurant ok for breakfasting but totally unsuitable decor and settings for evening meal.

Best Western Palace Hotel & Spa, Inverness - Reviews & Ratings"This is a tourist hotel that caters well for coach parties, so if you are planning a break to Inverness this establishment will serve you well.It is a very short walk accross the bridge to everything Inverness has to offer. My room was very spacious and comfortable, however, I was driven mad by the noise made by a flock of Gulls that seemed to camp on the roof of the hotel. The staff who served dinner were a bit slower than my expectation and didn't offer accompaniments with food, nor a second drink with my meal. It was very different at breakfast, the staff were well organised and served a very busy dining room with ease." (108053009)

Best Western Palace Hotel & Spa, Inverness - Reviews & Ratings"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay at the hotel again. The only comment we would make is that the choice of menu for the evening meal could have been a little more extensive. We found that the choice was limited. With regard to the breakfast menu, this was one of the best selections we have found in our stays at other Best Western Hotels in the United Kingdom." (97565997)

Nice large room view was fab looking over the river, nice and central for the town.
The room was cold and that was with the heating on full the windows could not open there was a large gap at the bottom of the glass we had to close the curtains to keep the draught out, the bathroom also cold the shower curtain was very dirty and had a terrible smell, was rather bad.I had informed reception and asked for a clean shower curtain but this did not happen

Very well situated hotel for Inverness town centre and also easy access to roads for travelling. Very nice reception, lovely large room with en-suite facilities etc. Food excellent and staff very attentive. Great leisure facilites with pool.

Booked this Hotel with another couple they had a nice room,but the room we were given smelt of stale smoke we complained and we were moved to another room which only had twin beds this was the only room available at the time but as we had booked this hotel about four months ago we were a bit disapointed but overall the hotel was very good

Best Western Palace Hotel & Spa, Inverness - Reviews & Ratings"The hotel probably would improve with a full makeover however the leisure club and gym were an unexpected pleasure. It was so lovely as at home I have a private membership of a health club which I visit 5 times a week and I was able to continue this on holiday. Also there was a full information pack in out room advising what was happening around and about. The valet parking was a great idea as I did not need to worry about getting a parking ticket parking in the street. A map of the Inverness would have been helpful and every member of staff from the leisure club to the restaurant to the reception were fantastic." (97421051)

In out room there was no fridge, no fan in bathroom and the lift was so old fashioned

The pool area is really nice, it just adds to the relaxation of the stay.
My wife did not like the pillows and the lift is certainly ready to be upgraded.

Our room was very well presented, very clean and spacious even with our own Travel Cot in the room. We found all the staff very helpful, polite and well presented. We order room service twice during our stay and the food was excellent and good size portions (largest fish I have ever eaten). I would highly recommend this hotel." (99363276)

Everything about the accomodation was excellent. The room was first class and the view overlooking the River Ness and the castle was fantastic. The choices available and the quality of the breakfast was outstanding and the perfect way to start the day.

The room size was great and the bed was huge.
Our room was the room just as you come out of the lift and you could hear everyone coming and going and the lift closing all the time, which was quite loud.

good sized bedroom. large bed.
Very noisy plant from leisure complex below! turned on at 7.15 am and we had to get up at this time. We were in Inverness for a friend's birthday and had a late night. Rising at 7.15 was not on the agenda.

Health and safety issue I badly burnt my leg in Steam room as there was no warning sign or cover on the heating element which is part of the actual seating bench. The room was very steamy at the time and this hazard was not made obvious. I mentioned this at reception so hopefully this will have been resolved my the timne we come the next time .
