Breaffy Woods Hotel, Castlebar - Reviews & Ratings"The bar needs to be overhauled to make it more comfortable for guests. The tables were never cleaned and the heat was unbearale. The leisure centre is not suitable for anyone other than children." (108097056)
The hotel grounds were nice and the first impressions of the hotel were good.
The bar was a disgrace. It was filthy and very overcrowded. The leisure centre was crammed full of children so adults could not use the facilities. The jacuzzi was extremely small. The food was awful and the reception seating area only had space for 2 individual parties to be seated.

Breaffy Woods Hotel, Castlebar - Reviews & Ratings"the accommodation was beautiful as were the grounds. i would have liked to have been given information about the hotel and facilities and nearby towns on arrival so we could have planned our stay better. also if room service was not being provided the leaflets to be left on the door should not have been provided and the lady at reception should have told us when we rang and checked that no one was going to take the order." hotel and rooms were nice
weren't given any information anout the hotel or facilities on arrival or in the room, no room service was provided for breakfast although the sign was put on the door 2 mornings in a row, staff weren't very helpful and some were not very friendly in the bar of the main hotel. staff were very slow at taking dinner orders in the restaurant and also took aprox 50 mins after ordering to bring food to the table and the restaurant was empty.
