Wolfscastle Country Hotel, Haverfordwest - Reviews & Ratings"I thought that the location of the accomodation could have been more accurately described. I confused the Wolf Inn just the other side of the village for the hotel. they should mention that they have an overflow car park down the hill and first left." (97123716)

The bathroom was a plus.
£125 was too much for the quality of our room. The decor was dated, it smelled like a wet dog, and had no fridge or minibar.

Our room was spacious, nicely decorated and clean. The public areas of the hotel were well maintained and had a lot of character. The restaurant at the hotel was excellent, the staff were wonderful and the food was impeccable!

The room was light, so very clean it was such a delight. The main thing was the bed, it was high, soft to lie on but firm, gave a good nights sleep. excellent standard of cleanliness of our room maintained throughout our 3 night stay. Food was good and the staff were warm and made us feel very welcome. A thouroughly enjoy able experience
being really picky we would have liked a heated towel rail in the en-suite

Wolfscastle Country Hotel, Haverfordwest - Reviews & Ratings"We thought this hotel was really great. They'd thought of everything and they couldn't do enough to make our stay more enjoyable. The whole experience spoke volumes of what can happen when a team has obviously worked for years together and has listened to what their customers want. The place was comfortable without being flash or oppulent. The food was good restaurant quality without being self consciously fancy and the wine was nicely chosen and very reasonably priced. We couldn't really raise the tiniest of niggles about anything - and that breaks our hearts because we are fussy sorts." (3304485258)
Extremely thoughtful touches in the room - ironing board and iron provided, great showers, comfy beds, nicely furnished. Great staff and fab food. They pre-warned us of a function happening and that we might be disturbed and offered us free drinks if we were!

Wolfscastle Country Hotel, Haverfordwest - Reviews & Ratings"The Hotel and staff were good, but the room we were allocated was advertised as 'superior', nothing in the room gave us any reason to believe this was worthy of this status. The shower could not be used as it was over the bath with no means of attaching it to the wall, and there was no shower screen or curtain. The bathroom was extremely small but adequate and clean, however the room should have been rated as a Standard room. We would recommend the Hotel but would suggest that the rooms be inspected before booking." (3304322235)
Restaurant, staff, excellent menu and cusine.
The room we reserved was a superior double, but we feel this did not meet this criteria. The room was in desperate need of updating and did not in any way match the excellent service from the staff and chef.

Once the renovation work has been completed, all problems should be resolved but at the moment car parking is limited.

I ordered breakfast to the room next morning and it arrived exactly on time. Breakfast was lovely. Reception staff were very nice and overall hotel experience was excellent. Our young son loves yorkshire pudding and the staff accommodated this by adding it to his food order (not a standard option). Similarly, at breakfast he wanted a non-standard cooked breakfast and this was provided. We have rarely experienced this degree of flexibility." (2930653)
Rooms were of a very high standard. We booked three rooms as two of our elder son's and their wives were with us as well as our youngest son (9 years old). Everyone thought the accommodation was excellent.

Nothing much. Bathroom too small with hand/bath shower only. Furniture pine. Some fittings (esp bathroom) well used - perhaps 15yrs old.
Accommodation needs attention. Receptionist poor attitude on check-out.

Clean and with every facility required for a business meeting
No smoking in the lounge area - all bedrooms and dining room were non smoking areas, the lounge bar was quite smoky when waiting to order the meal prior to going into the dining retaurant.

Extremely pleasant setting, thoruoghly helpful staff and an extremely well prepared room with thoughtful added extras. The brief stay was a pleasurable experience.
For a longer stay the only real addition might be the provision of a wider channel selection on the television set.

The feel of teh hotel, quite country, however all amenities were fabulous. The room and en suite was quite spacious and clean.
