Langdale Hotel & Country Club - Reviews & Ratings"okay. next time would stay in hotel more central so you dont have to depend on hotel for everything. as langdale was very limited and not value for money." (107658273)
broken bed reported on first day, repair not carried out and staff response when checking out, oh sorry about that. cleaners did not clear rubbish from room from on site takeaway service. soft play area for children extremely makeshift.

The level of service in Hobson's Bar was particularly good.We enjoyed the ambience,the food and the drink.Overall,the service in the hotel was good and friendly.

Room excellent. All staff that I came into contact with, were: polite,happy,eager to help and always had a smile, and they didn't lose interest after the main course, if you know what I mean ?
Room was very dark, windows were overlooked or in darkness. But I stress this was only one room. I didn't complain because the room was excellent otherwise.

Nice hotel and good facilities with the pool/jacuzzi/steam room and sauna a welcome at the end of a walking day. Food was good as was the staff in all areas.

Large bed and room. WIFI in room. Jacuzzi bath. Leisure facilities. Proximity to fantastic scenery and walks

Langdale Hotel & Country Club - Reviews & Ratings"We were very pleased with the Hotel and all the high quality facilities. Top class pool and sauna etc. Rooms very spacious and nice well appointed En-Suite." (99755219)
Hotel and Rooms were situated in very natual surroundings and the gardens and landscaping tastefully complimented the high quality establishment.
The approach to the room was via a very bland entrance passage and felt like you were entering a broom cupboard. The pavement outside the rooms could have been cleaner.

Peaceful and beautful surroundings
Would have liked to enjoyed the lovely outside area of the cafe but couldn't get away from smokers.

Nice large room and bathroom.
Front of house staff though efficient and friendly did not have local knowledge or chat informally as has been our experience in hotels in this area in past years. Also when we returned to the hotel at 7pm we could not park and had to drive around for several minutes before we parked in a no parking bay. We eventually went out and moved the car when the car park had emptied a little. We think it was due to events at the Country club but feel residents should have priority as you could not park on the road outside.
