Hotel Des Tuileries, Nîmes - Reviews & Ratings"A clean, comfortable, modern hotel, at a good price, in the centre of Nimes but not on a main road, and therefore quiet. Very near the station, which was important to us as we were traveling by train from Paris." (97962426)

Hotel Des Tuileries, Nîmes - Reviews & Ratings"The hotel was within easy walking distance of all the things in Nimes we wanted to get to as well, as being round the corner from the bus stop for the airport bus. The friendly owner was very welcoming and also most helpful when we couldn't get the airconditioning unit to provide a little extra heat to the room, providing us with an extra heater within minutes. The hotel itself is small, only 12 rooms, very quiet being on a side street, yet within minutes we were in the old city of Nimes, and we were within easy walking distance of most things we wanted to get to. The room was comfortably furnished with a good chair for sitting plus there was a balcony and chairs to sit there as well. The room was well soundproofed if there had been much noise. Overall, I would highly recommend the hotel for a short stay in central Nimes" (99274700)
very quiet yet very central

Hotel Des Tuileries, Nîmes - Reviews & Ratings"The hotel is very central all the sites are a 5-10min walk. The Ryanair airport bus just drops you around the corner. The hotel manager was very friendly and helpful . There are lots of restaurants to choose from and all are reasonable priced. The room was large and very comfortable..they only thing I would advise is to take you own towels as they are clean but old & hard ! Would stay again & reccomend to anyone just wanting a weekend break in a central , reasonable priced hotel !" (99298985)

Staff friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Very clean bathroom. Air conditioner eventually cooled the second room off somewhat.
A bit cramped. The bed in the second room was uncomfortable. There should really be an air conditioner in each room of the suite.

Hotel Des Tuileries, Nîmes - Reviews & Ratings"I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and the staff were very relaxed and helpful, but I would have appreciated more local information. The roman arena is a ten minute walk away but I couldn't find it on my first day out. Perhaps a nice big street map in the reception area would be helpful showing locations of cash points and internet services. Some information about local bus services (routes and fares) would also have been useful. It was very hot and walking everywhere was a bit tiring and time consuming. Visiting local attractions using the local buses would have been more fun." (3304399657)
Double glazing for some quiet at the end of the day and also good air conditioning

Very convenient to the City Centre and clean, although a little freshening up of the decor would make a better impression.

Hotel Des Tuileries, Nîmes - Reviews & Ratings"My husband and I have just returned from staying at the hotel,we found Pascal and Flora very helpful and always had a smile on their faces. The instructions for finding the Hotel are really if you are in a car, we followed them on foot from the train station and found the hotel no problem but the next day realised this and it was only 5 min walk down one road to get to the hotel. The fridge in the room was a gem as we could put drinks in it as it was so hot.The hotel is near to all attractions and train and bus stops are near too.I left a new top behind the door in the bathroom and e mailed them if they would send it back to me,that was 2 days ago and it arrived today,so I am really pleased they are efficient aswell. The towels where changed each day.We will not hesitate to stay here again when we are in the area." (3304752638)
Nice size bedroom, balcon that opened, central location, easy to find from train and bus, clean and very pleasant staff.
There was nothing we disliked about the accomodation,it has to be said though that the decor in some areas does really need updating, the grouting around the bath area, and some of the scunching on the walls had not really improved things, but that aside all very clean.

Hotel Des Tuileries, Nîmes - Reviews & Ratings"The Hotel des Tuileries at Nimes is excellent, and we really enjoyed every aspect of our stay. Really good facilities, particularly for a 2 star. The proprietor was so helpful, guiding us to the correct bus stop for out of town visits and writing down how I can order the kind of coffee I like i.e large, black with milk separate and no froth!. Lovely bathroom, nice cotton bed linen, a small fridge and electrically operated screen to the balcony window ensuring a good nights sleep." (3304243487)
It was well situated, easy to find

Hotel Des Tuileries, Nîmes - Reviews & Ratings"An excellent value for money small hotel, ideally placed for the town centre and station. All very clean, but the linen is a little worn. The proprietor speaks English and was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast, basic croissants and bread. Shame there was no facilitiy for tea/coffe in the bedroom. If you get the chance to go on a day trip by train/coach stay away from le Grau de Roi on the coast - it's a hundred times worse than Blackpool, however the town one before the end of the rail/bus line is like a little Carcasonne and worth a visit. The shuttle to the airport is a couple of minutes walk away outside the Novotel and is linked to flight times." (3304173072)
Very comfortable bedroom and immaculate shower room.
Provision of kettle and tea/coffee in the bedroom and newer linen

Hotel Des Tuileries, Nîmes - Reviews & Ratings"This is a very good hotel if you want to stay a couple of nights visiting the town because you get a warm welcome without spending too much money. The chef is very nice, check-in and out are very easy. Breakfast is quite good compared to other french ones. It is rather quiet at night so that you can sleep well. We would stay there again." (3304091437)
Very nice, friendly, family-like atmosphere. Close to station and center.
Beds were a bit too soft but alright. Sheets and towels were not new but clean.

Hotel Des Tuileries, Nîmes - Reviews & Ratings"Would certainly recommend to friends. Our stay was most enjoyable." (2954389)
The hotelier was friendly & very helpful. The twin room itself was well equiped & warm for the time of year (December). The decor could be improved in the room at very little expense, taking away the tired and, feeling of required updating. Overall, good value for money in a cosy, warm atmostphere.
Mainly, room decor & finishing touches.
