Clean, appreciated the tub and the hot water kettle. Good location.
It was impossible to keep water in the shower. Every time, it soaked the whole room. Also, the desk clerk at check out didn't know how to work the computer, and swipe the credit card. He did not even know that I had to sign the credit card slip. He was very friendly and helpful but definitely needed more training.

Easy access from motorway with secure parking and right above the Metro, just two stops from Central Lille. It has recently been well refurbished - the rooms are not large but well equipped for the class. No many, but friendly and helpful, staff. We had the breakfast for the first time which was a good range, good quality and well presented." (97843821)

Best Hôtel Lille, Lille - Reviews & Ratings"The location was not so nice with several homeless people close to the hotel during the day. However, for the price, it was OK for the twin room." (99534540)
The parking was secure.
The surroundings were not so nice with lots of homeless people besides the hotel by the supermarket begging.

Room was not made up when I checked in. I left my luggage and possessions in the room and the cleaners threw away my newspaper, a book I was reading and other belongings. I find this unprofessional and thoroughly unacceptable. The receptionist didn't seem to know what he was doing.

proximity to the metro and city center.
second day in the morning there was no hot water in the shower or tap and TV was not working properly.

qualité du petit déjeuner et calme de la chambre +proximité avec le métro
odeur forte du désinfectant dans les couloirs et chambre + bruit de l'ascenseur + salle de douche non chauffée (glacée le soir !)

No english speaking staff; area surrounding hotel was dirty and had a number of people sleeping rough.
