Campanile Valence Sud, Valence - Reviews & Ratings"The staff were not very helpful when we had a problem with the telephone in our room, which apparently they had not switched on for use. We needed internet access and they were very frustrated when we asked several times for their help. The information in the room regarding getting an outside line was incorrect so even once we got the phone working, it still took several attempts plus a phone call to an English speaking Campanile to figure out the problem. The owners were too busy running the restaurant and bar to give us their full attention when we needed their help. English speaking would also have been a bonus, which I would have expected from a Campanile hotel." (3304525630)
The room was clean and had air conditioning. The bed was comfortable and the location convenient.
Not enough wardrobe space and lack of bedside tables on either side of the bed.

The room was very clean and everything seemed fresh and new.
The evening meal was poor. The duck was no longer available and the special fish dish was disgusting - very greasy and smothered with a tasteless white sauce. However, the breakfast was good. We were impressed with the machine to squeeze fresh oranges and the fresh fruit salad was delicious.

Easily accessible, secure, very nearby and well-lit parking, cooperative, friendly staff
there should be a small 'fridge in each room/breakfast finishes too early at 9am/there could be one or two English channels on the TV, such as BBC Prime;Sky News etc. OR (if you think there will then be a demand for programming in too many other languages) 'Euro News' with the facility to receive it in English and the other languages in which Euro News is broadcast ...

la proximité de points essentiels de valence notamment le centre hospitalier
en 2008 l'ère est au numérique... indispensable pour certains voyageurs ;) qui notamment ... réservent en ligne!

le personnel du petit déjeuner.Présentation en tenue de ménage, et encore sans blouse et réel manque d'interet pour leur travail et la clientèle.je n'ai diné qu'un soir et la viande (du veau )était rouge .

Informations téléphoniques pour se rendre à l'hôtel approximatives. Bruit important dans la chambre (VMC m'a-t-on dit) Chambres 2 lits simples alors que la réservation était lit double

En toute objectivité et vous pouvez me croire, voyageant très souvent, l'hôtel CAMPANILE VALENCE est supérieur en qualité et service à ce que je peut rencontrer parfois lors de mes déplacements. J'espère et je le crois aisement que les autres hôtels CAMPANILE en France sont de la même tenue. Toujours est t-il que désormais et lors de mes prochains déplacements dans la règion RHONE/ALPES je réserverais à CAMPANILE. MERCI" (2058687)

1) The room was REALLY small. That small that when sleeping I kept on pushing the light switch, the lights switched on in the middle of the night and I woke up like 5 times. i have slept very bad. 2) I booked a double bed and I have got a twin bed. 3) Breakfast until 9 AM was a dramatic thing. I have been traveling a lot during the day before and I needed to sleep a bit more. When woke up I learnt it was too late for breakfast so I must have picked my car, go and search for a place to have a proper breakfast. That was not funny.
