Altedia Lodge, Chambéry - Reviews & Ratings"The pictures online were very encouraging but the reality was better. We have stayed in many boutique style hotels in the UK and this was as good as, and certainly cheaper than, most of them. It also has spa facilities. The bedrooms we had were on two levels, with the sleeping area upstairs above and the bathroom and sitting area below. Our kids loved it and so did we (though this type of room might not be suitable for very small children as they could fall down the stairs). The restaurant and bar area were also very contemporary in their design with some impressive modern artwork (which was also for sale) on some of the walls. The food was excellent, as was the wine list, and there also was a menu for children. With ample parking and accessibility to main routes, this was the perfect way to start our holiday in the Alps." It was very modern, with form following function. The bedrooms were comfortable and the facilities were excellent apart from the lack of a mini-bar (unless I could not find it !).

l'hotel et le restaurant. le personnel tres agreable, le cadre tres sympa
il n'y avait pas de baignoire dans la suite junior contrairement a ce qu'il y a d'inscrit dans la description de la chambre:

The decor of the hotel and rooms were fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay and the staff were really friendly.
The only point we would make is that the directions/address given when booking the hotel is not great. We ended up in Chambery when actually the hotel is on the border of La Ravoire/Barberaz. This needs to be sorted out.
