The hotel was very ell situated and had its own private car park. The staff were courteous and the room, albeit rather on the small side, was well equipped and had a good en suite facility. At 51 euros per room per night it represented excellent value.
The room was a little worn but was clean nevertheless.

girl left in charge for our checkout was very sarcastic and rude we both felt she was more interested in gambling on online poker than attending to breakfast and checkout duties we will not use your service again my wife was very upset.

The room had all you needed for a short stay (including very handily a hairdryer!) although the size meant that you would probably not want to stay there if you need the room for anything other than sleeping.
The room was quite cramped and noisy as the corridor walls were quite thin

clean, friendly, central, good value, proprietor English speaking!
The only possible negative could be noise from the road if in front room, however, we were not kept awake by this.

I am a very fussy traveller and my hotel rooms must be clean and nicely decorated. And reasonable. The breakfast was good - It included cheese and not just butters and jams. This hotel fits the bill. It was also great to have an underground parking area where you know that your vehicle is safe. The breakfast was also very good value for money. It provided clean and comfortable accomodation, the plumbing worked, the water was hot, the beds comfortable and the continental breakfast was more than adequate. if you want more, then this is not the hotel for you, but for a one night inexpensive stop over it was just the job." Clean, simple, no frills and excellent value for the money
very little if all you want is a bed for the night. Room was a bit cramped, but so what! Central heating a little weak for a cold night.

Hôtel Les Grandes Tours, Dinan - Reviews & Ratings"The hotel is wall situated and offers good clean accommodation, there is a secure parking area, however, it may be a little tight for some larger vehicles and there is a charge.Breakfast is resonable at 5 euros and you get the choise of cereals and tea.The lady on reception was very nice ,but spoke little english, maybe just as well as we should all make more effort to speak french. Hôtel Les Grandes Tours, Dinan - Reviews & Ratings"Hotel location is excellent for seeing the walled city of Dinan and near to Le Mont Saint Michel, the reason we were in the area. Room was clean, predictably small, comfortable bed and had a hair dryer. A big plus. Staff spoke almost no English, which was a problem for us as we don't speak French. Adequate breakfast was offered for $5 Euro, which I felt was an excellent value. They offer parking (not free as expected) but could not access the lot as the turn in was too narrow for our car. We found free parking across the street and did not have a problem." (2094428)
Excellent location for the city. There was a hair dryer in the room - a big plus. Parking impossible in their lot because car could not make turn into it. (Very narrow). Room was clean and fine for the one night we stayed there.
Very difficult to communicate with the staff as I do not speak French, but they were eager to do their best to understand us.

Hôtel Les Grandes Tours, Dinan - Reviews & Ratings"This hotel is excellent value for those who want somewhere to stay while they explore Dinan and the surrounding countryside and towns. There is secure (pay)parking at the hotel but this is inaccessable after 11.00 p.m. - so be warned if you wake up in the night and find you have left your medication in the car. There are two public carparks only three minutes walk from the hotel. In the same block is a good and reasonably-priced restaurant (St. Louis) but there are many in Dinan equally as good. Basic and clean - I can reccommend it." (2200962)
Hotel is comfortable, clean and value for money.
Although small the room was adequate. Even basic English words were not understood at check in.

The general standard of the two rooms left a lot to be desired regarding standard of furnishing, carpet, outer bedcoverings and sound insulation between rooms and corridors. Also I was not informed of the breakfast facility when I checked in. In it's favour, the Hotel was centrally located and had private parking. Regarding e-mail reservations, I appeared to be unable to book two rooms in one transaction and could not reserve a double bedded room for a one person occupancy." (1368726)
