  "When booking I asked if there was parking and the reply was that it could not be guaranteed. This I beleived, wrongly, meant there was possibly parking but somewhat limited. In fact the signs outside say no parking. Had I known this I would not have booked the hotel. Also there is major roadworks(re building the new town square) which meant the maps I obtained from auto route were of no use and it took 1.5 hours to locate after leaving the motorway. Although the hotel was very good this will stop me from rebooking again." (99150763)

  Clean accommodation. Helpful and welcoming staff. Nice room and good breakfast

  No parking, staff unsure whether it was legal to park or not outside hotel

  The staff were unfailingly pleasant, the hotel was conveniently situated and the facilities should have satisfied

  The bed, a nominal double would not have accommodated both my wife and myself as I am 1m 90cm and my wife tall for a woman. The water was not hot and the bath plug was stuck down. I raised the matter at check out and was told that the water had not been hot all week. It was hard to get a satisfactory cupof coffee at breakfast. I could not find the butter a breakfast. There appeared to be a demented pair, male and female, who argued outside the hotel and wakened me at 2am and again at 4am. This I suppose is a problem with city centre hotels but I suspect had more to do with the restaurant next door.

  "It was a very enjoyable stay. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful answering our questions. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to friends and family." (99853335)

  Very clean and colourful room. Well kept and refreshed each day. Friendly and helpful staff, central to areas of city.

  "Overall, my stay was very pleasant. I would have liked to have been issued a map of where the hotel is situated when I booked the room online. It is difficult to find it." (99465041)

  Very high Standard facilities for a 2 Star hotel. Immaculatebathroom which is fully refurbished.

  The steps up into the reception and that the lift only went up 3 floors. It was very difficult to manouvre alarge suitcase

  "I had never been to Pau before and therefore did not know what to expect. In this respect I was pleasantly surprised. The taxi from the Railway Station cost E6. However, the hotel is within walking distance, albeit up a steep hill. Staff at the hotel were very pleaant and friendly. The breakfast at E6.50 represents excellent value for money. I would definitely use this hotel again." (3305267385)

  Good sized room with bath and shower. Nice and clean. Not far away from Railway Station and near central area of town.
