Good security for motorcycles, clean bar and restasurant area, good food
There was a wedding so not really interested in our needs. Only given what food they had available because concentrating on wedding.Bar was shutting at 10pm for wedding. Bedrooms very basic but clean. Lovely village on side of hill, glorious views.

Hôtel Deshors Foujanet, Chamboulive - Reviews & Ratings"Very friendly, welcoming and accommodating staff. The food was good and we both felt comfortable with the staff and other guests. The restaurant was reasonably busy at the weekend with what seemed to be local people enjoying their food and wine. Most stayed for some time which created an enjoyable ambiance. All that one would expect from a small rural hotel which in my opinion offers more than the many impersonal and soulless options." (3304477297)
It is a typically French small hotel with various styles of decor with a friendly atmosphere.
Perhaps some refurbishments would be a good idea, when funds allow.

Hôtel Deshors Foujanet, Chamboulive - Reviews & Ratings"Overall experience was fine and the hotel is good value for money. However, the room we had could have done with more modern decor and the hotel is on the main road into/out of the village of Chamboulive and traffic noise can be a disturbance at times in any room at the front of the hotel. Restaurant unexpectedly good for a hotel of this classification." (2239301)
Good value for money. Food very good. Staff friendly and accommodating.
Decor in bedrooms. Credit card machine not working at time of checkout.

"Although our stay was affected by poor weather, the hotel would still have been disappointing in good weather. The room was poorly equipped, with no working plugs, a broken door which did not shut to the en suite bathroom, and a very unpleasant smell which spread from the bathroom into the room during the night. The restaurant served fairly good food, but having spent several summers in France and this year, 3 weeks before the stay, we felt that the menus were overpriced for the quality of the food, which also varied in quality over the 2 nights we spent there. On a plus note, the pool and gardens were pleasant." (3304889918)
The pool and gardens were pleasant.
The room was inadaquate in terms of cleanliness.
