  "The hotel was in a pretty village just off the motorway and was small and family run with a very French ambience. This was prefect for our overnight stop on the way to the South after a long day's drive. We were slightly disappointed that there were no other places in the village to eat as we had read in other reviews that the hotel was quite expensive to eat at. We did indeed eat at the hotel and although the food was very nice, it was slightly on the pricey side and the wait for service was too long and not delivered with a smile. (This may have been just that the lady was having a bad day, as the restaurant was not that full). We also felt that the breakfast was nothing special, considering that we paid approx 9 euros per head for it - just the offer of pastries and bread. Having said all that the hotel itself was clean and comfortable and adjacent to a little park and playground area, which we all appreciated after a long day in the car." (3304997468)

  The family room was spacious and cool despite a warm day, and the bathroom was large

  The reception could not speak any english so it was very hard to understand things. While booking was so easy on the internet.

  Lots of hot water, comfortable bed

  "I would like to have known the average cost of the food. As it was an ok meal for quite a lot of money in comparison to other hotels that we have stayed in in France. We have stayed in many as we have been coming over every couple of months for the past year and a bit. The bedroom, though very clean was very small for 2 people plus suitcases etc!" (2881034)

  "The people who run the hotel speak just enough English to help us non-french speaking. The room had no TV or coffee making facilities. If you do visit, go for a walk. There are some very good views and walks in the area, inc. a Roman road. Don't expect to much from the hotel unless you have a taste for some very old wine." (2664868)

  "We had booked our stay for a stop to our vacation adress in France. The rooms were good and clean, the staff was allright. The food was good and tasty. It was for our purpose a very good hotel and we will come back next year." (2489980)

  "as a half way stop of my holiday this hotel was a great place to stop the owner speaks little english as we french but she made as feel very welcome even my 4 year old like this hotel beacause the owner made him welcome very important for a family travelling plus the evening meal was very good thank you to the hotel from the Kingwells" (2279646)
