A good point is that the hotel has a restaurant.
It is very bad that the hotel not have any rooms for smokers. The times I have stayed in the hotel, many guests have been irritated over this.

The hotel only has one iron and did not record who they had lent it to. With a large party staying there for a wedding the iron was in high demand and it would have been useful if there was more than one or if reception had recorded who it was lent to so that it could be traced when others needed it.

My only problem is that if I have to travel to Dreux at short notice the hotel is fully booked." (97279215)
All the staff were very friendly & it was very clean.

1. The hotel has a good restaurant. 2. Safe parking of the car.
All rooms are non-smoking rooms. Which I understood annoyed several guests, my colluege and myself included. This was not the case the first time I stayed on the hotel. I'd suggest they make it possible to book rooms for smokers.

No real plus points - but it was easy to find and get to.
It was supposed to be non-smoking, but reeked of tobacco. Ventilation was difficult.

Room was spacioious, clean and warm and the main buiding facilities were good.
The outdoor pasageway access to the room and the motel style arrangement. Other guests were disturbing in the small hours as they passed by the window.

Restaurant was fine and restaurant staff efficient and friendly
Reception staff were off-hand. Rooms hot and not air conditioned. Location on very busy and noisy road.

However this particular hotel was, in general, a great disappointment. The room was dark dirty and smelt stale and unclean. The grounds, especially around the outside eating area were neglected ans scruffy. If this is typical of Campaniles today then I feel they have a big problem. They are always easily located from major motorways/roads, and provide clean basic accommodation. The restaurants serve good quality food at competitive prices. I shall continue to use them. Hotel staff very helpful. Room was clean and tidy. Hotel is located in a nice area at the edge of town.
I have stayed at a number of Campanile Hotels in the past. I found that the restaurant food was not very good. The breakfast was fine but the evening meal was very average.

J'apprécie le calme dans cet hotel malgré la proximité de la route. Les chambres sont confortables et les couettes très agréables!
prix un peu élevé, et surtout des différences de prix entre les différents Campanile

The hotel is quiet, and it has a good parking space. It is also very good to be able to eat dinner in the same hotel you live in. The staff is helpful, and nice.
That there are no rooms for smokers!! Which I have understood more guests than me an my friend are finding annoying. Especially, since we who has staid in the hotel for many years remeber that it used to be better before. This is the only reason why we try to find an alternative hotel.
