  The staff were quite unfriendly. They were also unable to recommend any restaurants and they have none.

  One of the most delightful hotels we have ever stayed in. Wonderful room and delectable dinner. Beautiful grounds which we made the most of.

  Amazing grounds and building.

  A fire alarm went off at 5:30am which took ages to turn off. I had to go to reception and actually tell them that it was going off outside my room. The night porter was not at all helpful and looked at me as if I had just insulted his mother. We had an 8month old in the room with us and the alarm woke him up and he wasnt able to settle after so it was a long morning for everyone. I complained again in the morning when I checked out and there was no mention of an apology just a "I understand" - if he did he would have apologised!!

  Stunning situation.

  Dinner presentation excellent though small portions and rather expensive. Breakfast 22 euros Toilet constantly running in our bathroom which was situated above noisy boiler. Bulbs missing from chandelier in bedroom which had dirty windows. The only public room seemed to be the cocktail bar.

  "We stayed just one night and arrived too late for dinner in the dining room; however, room service was very efficient and high quality. If staying again we would plan to spend enough time to leisurely enjoy dinner and breakfast." (97941243)

  Spaciousness and comfort of the room. Beautiful grounds which we had the pleasure of walking. All visitors should allow a little time to enjoy the serenity.

  An amazingly comfortable bed, a fantastic bathroom, spacious accommodation and a lovely outlook.

  Lack of radio/music in the room (not interested in TV) and lack of tea/coffee making facilities.
