The rooms are very clean and decoration is of a high standard. The owner is very friendly and takes time to welcome and get to know people who stay. There is a genuine desire to look after visitors and welcome them back for future bookings. The breakfast is good - lots of choice and served in a well appointed dining room. The bed linen is of good quality as is all the furniture in this hotel. Excellent high standards of room decor, furnishing and cleanliness
It is disappointing that adjoining properties do not have the same high standards as the Homecliffe. Concern that these will impact on the bookings at the Homecliffe which is so sad as the hotel is excellent

The Homecliffe Hotel, Blackpool - Reviews & Ratings"Little gem of a hotel. Located at the far end of the north prom near the Imperial Hotel. All staff pleasant and friendly. Room small but very nicely furnished. Bed very comfy and clean. Bathroom super clean. View over the rear not good, but the quiet location made up for it. Breakfast was cooked using all fresh produce and you could order any combination you fancied. All round very good value for money." (107894167)

excellent room, perfectly clean and comfy
this was our second visit within 6 months and unfortunately the Wi Fi STILL doesnt work. we both lost business and had to leave early.

-The Hotel was easy to find and was nice that as soon as we went out, we could see the sea front.
-We had a double standard and although the room itself was nice, it was so small. It was quite hard sometimes as my boyfriend is a big bloke and we struggled to walk past eachother near the sides of the bed. - We were lucky as for majority of our stay, the room above was unoccupied. However, on our last day a family moved in upstairs and the walls are really thin, when I went into the bathroom I could hear people's conversations. I would feel sorry for couples who go away for a few days and have to listen to screaming kids, don't get me wrong I know children cry but this was very loud.

Customer service standards were un acceptable. Having no lift with a young child and push chair was un acceptable and spending the amount of money I spent I was expecting a good level of service and didi not recieve it, I can not belive that the hotel is 4 star having no lift. poor customer service and might of had a plama tv attached to the wall but it wasn't even tuned in.

Hotel owner was a very friendly & helpful man and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was lovely, nice & clean.
Breakfast could have been a little bit earlier.

The room was immaculate, very clean. Staff very friendly and welcoming.
The layout of the room wasn't ideal, wasn't alot of room to manoeuvere, especially going to the toilet at night. The bathroom layout wasn't good as the toilet was too close to the shower, hence not enough room. You were unable to have a shower at night before bed as there was no hot water. Hotels i have stayed in before you can shower at anytime.

The Homecliffe Hotel, Blackpool - Reviews & Ratings"John the proprietor has just had this place refurbished. It is lovely and clean, bedrooms small but very comfortable ensuites very clean also. We used the bar and this was very reasonable. There is also a quiet area for reading and relaxing. The dining room is large and very well fitted. John was actually on his own, all his staff had gone off with the winter bug, but there was no panic and nothing was too much trouble, he was really helpful, we will be going again." (97069714)
Bedroom was very clean and comfortable. The bar was really well stocked and very reasonable. Breakfast was really good.

Very friendly and helpful staff.Very clean and well looked after premises. Breakfast was cooked fresh and very tasty.
Room was possibly a little bit small for two people,okay for a couple of nights but not for a long stay.The only other niggle was the bathroom shelf which was loose and sloped downward and items tended to slide of,I mentioned it and was informed that it was a design fault and were due to be replaced.

The room was great, it had a really comfy bed and a the bathroom was fantastic I loved the shower.
The only think I didnt like was that there wasnt enough Jacuzzi rooms ;)

I eventually chose the Homcliffe as it appeared good value for money and it was of a nice standard of decor. On arrival I was extremly impressed with the initial welcome. I was even more pleased with the standard or my room. Breakfast was very good. Hot and no waiting. The cleanliness was impressive. Bar was good value. I will certainly be staying and look forward to my return.Thanks to all the staff for a very enjoyable break." (97429178)
